Dog Bar & Grill

Fun place! Had a delicious dinner with family and friends, outside on deck during a warm summer evening. Our dog loved sitting next to our feet, on leash, with a complimentary water bowl to wash down the occasional fry. The location is on a quaint mountain road with cabins and lodging; very near to the Cuchara Mountain Park, and Panadero Ski Area.

Best Buffalo Chicken salad with Blue Cheese crumbles. Super good! Fried pickles were a little over cooked but still decent. Hubs got a Hamburger and said it was really fresh and seasoned perfectly.

Chill vibe. Delicious food. Awesome view. Friendly staff. Burgers and fish n chips were all great. I really liked the fried pickles and green chili fries.

This place is awesome. Good food. Owner came by several times to talk with us. Gave us heads up they only had one cook so you could decide if you wanted to wait. I only wish they had more heat in the restaurant. I know it's more of a seasonal place, but a bit more warmth would be nice.

Visited this place and love the ambient precense it gives off. Waitress had ginger ale. Very nice place. Now the food - I had the chicken sandwich under favorites. Way too good, and the sauce was to kill for. Highly recommend.

Good beer and food in a beautiful mountain village. We ate on the deck under a huge pine they built the deck around. My husband had the French dip and I had a chicken veggie wrap with onion rings. Yum! Service was pleasant and prompt and although a big sign warns that they are not a fast food place, our food came out quickly.

Pizza was good but not cut well not a big problem obviously we just cut it with our knife. I got the hangover burger with chili fries I was expecting something similar to green chili but it was more like diner chili but it works together, they don’t do waffle sweet potatoes anymore and pop seems watered down. The burgers, pizza, and fries are Really good here that’s what the 5 stars is for.

Probably one of my new favorite places 💓 everything was so good and our server was great. You have to try the fried pickles. Soooo good 👍

A fun place to meet up for a drink and bite. Nothing better than food, friends, drinks, and tunes, in a friendly mountain atmosphere. Very welcoming staff and located in a gorgeous area. Prices and food are average for a bar, so be prepared for that. Five stars because our food was fresh & good, drinks were made correctly, the server was ABSOLUTELY friendly and on top of our every whim, the atmosphere was perfect for the mountain retreat feel, and the prices were average to what we would expect for bars & chains in town. Worth a repeat visit.

A nicely laid out bar with a dance floor and live band. Had a decent bar pizza and non alc cocktail. Didn't check out the dinner menu.

Best pizza place in Cuchara. Great staff,delicious foods, and drinks. Nice ambiance also. Price is reasonable.

Love this bar. Just completed 145 mile ADV ride around the Spanish Peaks. Rewarded myself with a couple draught pints. Love the bar. Hard to find a parking place, but it is Saturday afternoon of the Labor Day weekend. The burgers are great here too……had one last night

Good food and great service. The staff makes your 4 legged friend feel at home.

Everything was great service, food (good hatch green chili...not Pueblo green chili) and awesome conversation the only thing that could have made it better is if they would have had the heaters on and if they would have offered our doggy something.... I just expected them to cater to the doggos a little

A staple of the main town area. Food was fantastic each time we visited. Also did pizza one night for take out. Everything was great. Service was good. Well staffed and friendly. Very dog friendly.

Have been to the Dog Bar many times, each has been enjoyable. It's a place to slow the pace and relax. Nice people, fun bands, good food and drinks.

Great and super friendly staff. Chill and homy environment. Dog friendly. Nice food.. Sports bar/nice style. Amazing little town around surrounded by nature and great views. Wifi. Clean bathrooms.

This place is more of an institution. It has character and of course, invites a few characters, too. The food is good and we always have good service. The prices are in line and what you might expect. The best thing is that it just hasn't changed over the years.
