A great place for the whole family, from horses to history

Interesting history of the Milwaukee Railroad with remnants of the round house & other important buildings. Signage posted to explain the history & what the visitor is viewing. Nice, easy trails to walk or ride bike on.

Would have given this place a 5 but it was closed when we visited (a couple of months ago, ). But we will try and visit once it's re open after Covid. If anyone is a railroad buff especially the Milwaukee Railroad this is a must see!

Very interesting early 20th century railroad grounds. The Milwaukee Road had a large maintenance yard with a roundhouse with supporting buildings and Depot.
Museum still closed at this post ( June 11, 2021.
