The Purple Pig Pizzeria & Pub

Food arrived super fast and was DELICIOUS. I normally get heartburn eating pizza, but not with theirs. Their fries and mozzarella sticks were perfect. Plus the service was AMAZING.

There's absolutely no reason to stop anywhere else when you go through this cool little town. This pizza joint knows how to make a good crust, has some really interesting toppings, and a full service bar. The atmosphere is always awesome and every time I've walked in any of the employees have been super friendly. I've stopped here many times over the years and it's always been consistently good.

Ordered pickup order but I did go inside to pick it up. The order process was easy and the lady on the phone was super pleasant and even accommodated me coming from another town about 30 minutes away. The restaurant is smallish inside but seems to be very adequate seating. The pizza is so good. Wood fired ovens just cook so much better and makes pizza taste better. Topping were high quality and tasted amazing. I always get at least 1 meal from here when in the area.

Unique wood-fired pizzas and craft beers (including local options) from custom pint glassware. We didn’t expect this when we blew into Alamosa. The service was good and the room well lit &spacious. We were very happy eith our experience.

We had a wonderful meal here. We tried the Buffalo chicken pizza, Grandpa Andy’s Green Chile Pasta and the Lasagna. Everything was delicious and our server was great too. We highly recommend while in Alamosa.

This is one the best pizza joints I have been to in Colorado, and we have been to many throughout the years visiting this state.

One of the best thing is when we arrived they got all of us water, and even getting my toddler water without us even asking. Super nice and friendly the entire time.

The beer was cold and tasted super delicious! The pizza is even better! We ordered a BBQ pizza and it was great! I loved that we could see the pizza being made by the fire. It tasted so good and hit the spot! Next time we visit Alamosa we are definitely visiting this place again! Make sure not to miss it!

Wow!! From Denver and here for a quick weekend trip. We ended up here because the initial place we were going to eat had an hour wait!! So HAPPY we ended up here! We all had the calzones and they were INCREDIBLE! Our server Claudia was friendly and super helpful! We highly recommend the Purple Pig! It’s a must try!

Fantastic place! The service was very good but the food was amazing! We decided to split a pizza and the cheese ravioli and they were both so good.

Great pizza and pasta place on Main St in Alamosa, Colorado. Brick oven pizza. Thin crust on bottom but with a thick edge. Tons of toppings available. Full bar with great variety of drinks. Very crowded on a Friday, but no wait for food. Server was outstanding. Definitely recommend.

This was a really good find in Alamosa. They obviously put a lot of effort into the layout and decor, and it works - great atmosphere. The 3 pizzas we got were every bit as good as the atmosphere. They had a really nice variety of pizzas to choose from. The only thing lacking was great service, but they were really shorthanded due to government policies; the labor shortage was both real and widespread. So, I think they deserve a pass. At the time, we were just happy to find a nice place to grab a meal. PPPP was everything we were looking for, and more.

Paris was an awesome server. Answered any questions we had about the menu. There Bison Burgers was super. Salad was big and good as well!! Great place, great server!! Thanks Paris!!

Totally love the atmosphere! The fire pit for baking the pizza is awesome. Nostalgic place 🤗 the staff is fantastic! Ordered pizza and spaghetti 🤤 yummy yummy! Will definitely go back!! Thank you ♥

My husband and I each had a house salad and Italian soda, then shared a spicy Hawaiian pizza. Great food, service was good as well. Would definitely return if we're ever in the area again.

Very cool place. Service was fantastic!! Jalapeno poppers were delicious with just the right amount of heat. BBQ and peach pizza was amazing and different! Nice beer selection. Definate place to stop at. We will be back.

Maybe everything tastes better on vacation, but the food here was awesome! The pizza was good of course, but my daughter loved her meatball sub and I had the chicken Alfredo - YUM! I recommend the mudslide for your drink. The service was also spectacular. Thank you!

Every visit up to the San Luis Valley, I have to have my Purple Pig fix. Food is great and they have a great TEAM of servers and some good beer. Great place to hang out with friends and colleagues.

We got there at 9:30 thinking the place closes at 11 turns out it was 10 they still let us in and took great care of us. Even though it was late they never rushed out in a bad way. The wings were amazing for breaded and the pizza oh my. Delicious. Our waiter Nicholas was the best waiter I’ve had in a while. I’ll make an extra stop next time I pass by Colorado just to eat here again. If you are a visitor I recommend this place for good food and good vibes.

Was really good!!! I got 8 inch pizza, buffalo, wings and house salad....GF got 12 inch pizza and mozzarella caprese.... nice patio dining...friendly staff...got a FREE birthday brownie...up front parking...will be back...

Absolutely delicious food. I had a small white veggie pizza. It was fun watching the pizza guy working his huge hot oven! We were just passing through town, and we’ll def stop again when we go this way.

Delicious brick oven pizza. Really glad we came here as the pizza is very tasty and the staff was friendly and attentive. The mozzarella sticks are also really good. The food was served quickly and was very fresh. I would eat here again.
