Best Western Alamosa Inn

This is a Best Western and a well kept Best Western. Rooms were clean and well apportioned. Location was good. The lot had been cleared of snow and parking was adequate and I felt safe. Breakfast in the morning was about what I'd expect but the breakfast area was cleaner than I've ever seen one. Hats off to the staff. Check in was a breeze. Overall an easy stay on the road.

5 Star service, facilities, amenities and value!

The staff are kind, caring and helpful. The complimentary breakfast has an entire array of options. The rooms and indoor pool/hot tub are extremely clean and take care of. The ownership and operation of this hotel are at a level which is hard to find, match or beat!

Special thanks to the owner, front desk and gentleman in the mornings helping to set up the breakfast who put great care in to providing for their guests with incredible respect, care and service! You'll get all that you need and more if you stay here and I will most certainly stay here again!

Very nice place to stop for a night of rest. My husband and I had a great experience. The rooms were well stocked and large, with comfortable beds. We wanted to specifically point out the wonderful service we received from the manager, Danielle. She was kind, helpful and efficient with a small mixup with our original rooms. Wonderful staff, lovely stay.

Highly recommend! We stopped on a road trip. Rooms were clean. There is a nice grass area for pets. Nice picnic tables. Breakfast was great. In addition to the eggs, sausage, and potatoes there was biscuits and gravy and pork green chile. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The two queen room was a very nice size and was enough room for 4 adults and two dogs to comfortably enjoy.

Outstanding! The sound deadening is excellent, even with dogs all around us, and in our room too, we couldn't hear our neighbors at all. Everyone got a good night's rest, the bed was also comfortable enough.

Rooms are very roomy. Outdoor entrances. Large indoor pool plus great hot tub. Nice grassy park-like area next to lobby and breakfast nook. Professional and friendly staff. Easy on and off highway access.

This place is great! The rooms are nice, the hot tub is relaxing, breakfast is delicious, and the all-day coffee/tea bar is awesome. Also, Jacob and his manager are very friendly! I highly recommend...

We are on a road trip for a friend's birthday. Staff was very helpful and kind and even gave some great tips for travel routes! General manager is a rock star!

Dog friendly woth a superb staff. They are very friendly and were very helpful in answering my question. Room was decent size and clean, the hot continental breakfast was pretty good (options included coffee, juice, eggs, taters, sausage patties, cereal, oatmeal, a few pastries, apples, and toast. There was also green chili and gravy available as well.) There is an indoor pool and hot tub but I didn't have the time to use it 😕. Would stay here again, for sure!

I cannot say enough nice things about the service here. We came for a memorial service in Monte Vista and reserved the gazebo there for a family gathering. The city double booked and another group was already there, which left us in a dilemma. I called the hotel and asked if we could use the breakfast area for our family lunch and the manager was very accommodating. Our extended family was able to spend 3 wonderful hours together. A big thank you to the staff here.

My 91 year old mom was in the hospital and they gave me the hospital rate. Convient to the hospital. Danielle was great to work with and the breakfast was amazing.

This location is better than the comfort inn who put me right next to an outer door that didn't lock.
This is my second stay here, and when I'm back in the area I'll stay here again.

Tub needs some anti slip .. wow they are slick. Amazing manager who fixed my reservation. I think Expedia is doing something so they can up charge. They have a gimmick when you pay it's correct info but once the confirmation is sent it has wrong info so they can "help" fix the error so they can charge you more .. they claim the hotel is booked all of a sudden.. so I had it fixed by the mgr by calling the hotel direct. Now all of a sudden Expedia is trying to be helpful...

I paid. But at check in I still need to give them my credit card.?? What gives??
Continental breakfast was great. Hot, fresh,clean.
Hot tub was perfect.
Was a really quiet night.
Price was very reasonable for all that is included with the stay..

During what was the worst roadtrip ever, the staff at this hotel were a huge blessing. Our transmission went out 1100 miles away from home with 4 kids ages 8 months - 7 years. It would have been 3 weeks before the mechanics in town could get the parts to fix it. The hotel staff gave us the lowest rate possible because of the reason for our stay, they were flexible with what day we checked out given how we were going to get home changed so many times, they gave us late check out at 1:30 so we could stay in our room until we had to go to the Alamosa airport. They even let us leave our vehicle in their parking lot with no plan as to how it was going to get picked up. They kept the keys for us in case we found a shipping company to bring it home, which is what we ended up doing and they helped facilitate the pickup with the shipping company. That “kid” running the place from the previous post is not a kid, he’s an adult and his mother is the GM. It’s a family run hotel and it shows through their kindness and willingness to help out our family in what was a really really bad time. Icing on the cake to this trip is our flight out of Denver had a mechanical issue so we missed our connecting flight to Minneapolis which extended our worst trip ever by one day. We are finally in our own beds tonight reflecting on the past week and my husband and I both agreed it would have been way worse without this hotel. We THANK YOU a million times over.

What a great place to stay when in Alamosa. Spacious and clean rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Very friendly staff and a hot breakfast in the morning. This place even had an indoor pool and a hot tub. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Alamosa.

Very nice inside and outside. The pool was a little cool but the hot tub was perfect. The beds are comfortable and plenty of pillows.

The layout of this hotel was my favorite of our whole trip. A huge plus for me is that the sink was separate from the bathroom. This allows one person to get ready at the sink while another is showering. There was an extra cushioned bench at the sink area which was another nice touch. It was a clean room with comfortable beds and a great breakfast. The only negative for me was a second floor outside entrance. My personal preference is an interior entrance. But overall, it was a great place to stay.

I have stayed at this Best Western in Alamosa several times and always found it to be clean and well kept. Improvements are always done on rooms, stairs, grounds and pool areas. The breakfast assortment of food and beverages is wonderful. Andy is one of the most helpful and friendly associates I have encountered in any hotel. Hope to return to the San Luis valley area soon! I found this photo I had taken previously.

I have always gotten great service at the Best Western Alamosa Inn. The rooms are always clean and stocked. The lobby is immaculate as well as the breakfast area. My daughter and I enjoy the hot tub and swimming pool while visiting. The staff, in particular Andy is so friendly and accommodating. He is so professional and helpful every time I come to stay at this Best Western. I would highly recommend this Best Western to all travelers coming into Alamosa.
