Delicious! Our family ate here while on vacation. Every entree was great. The chicken fried steak is outstanding! The place looks like an Old West saloon, with a huge fireplace which was wonderful on a cold night. Thanks for a great meal and vacation memories.

I went on Friday night. There was live music and great food. It was packed. Their swiss&mushroom burger was great. My mom liked fried shrimp and fries. My bf loved his fried steak and gravy. I tried their prickly pear margarita and it was good. Visit here if you are in town!

Went out for a drive with a couple of friends on Monday of Memorial Day weekend and found this roadside bar & cafe. A bit of a wait in line, obviously a busy weekend for the restaurant and surrounding area. Was seated in about 45 minutes at a wobbly table in the middle of the restaurant near the performer’s stage and the music was good. Ordered a Black & Blue and received my food about 30 minutes later. The food does not disappoint. Well worth the wait. Left feeling very happy even with no alcohol consumption. Perfectly cooked burger, french fries, as well as the shared onion rings, and the shared deep fried mushrooms.I will definitely make this a place to bring friends that are from out of state. Great ambiance, definitely eclectic, and the antique Cutler-Hammer/Eaton Electrical panel in the men’s restroom was classic!

I love this place. It’s true New Mexico. You can feel the richness of its history. Great service and the tomato soup and the warmth of the huge fireplace was perfect on a cold afternoon in March.

Their chicken fried steak is so good, I ate it even though I’m gluten intolerant. I hadn’t had CFS that good since my grandma made it. Love the vibe of this place and the fireplace. Live music was fun!

Really fun old-timey western themed bar/restaurant with delicious chile-forward dishes.

Loved our dinner here. Came on a busy Saturday night and still got good service and the food came out quickly. The green chile cheese fries were the some of the best I've ever had. The fries were crispy and the green chile sauce was perfect. Subbed a veggie patty in a tortilla burger, it was good but a little dry, could have used a good sauce on it or any sauce for that matter. My partner loved his bean burrito and mentioned how perfect the pinto beans were. The green and red chile both have meat in them. Not sure if they have a veggie chile option but if there isn't, I hope they offer it soon. Loved the rustic feel of the place. We'll definitely stop again.

Went after the hot springs and with big appetite comes big responsibilities.
Menu has a variety of delicious burgers and more. I had the one with black olives, was more than I expected. Spent around $20 dollars including tip (no drink added).
The Atmosphere is from a small town with cabin like theme. Good service and attention

If you're anywhere near Santa Fe or Albuquerque, make a scenic side trip to Jemez Springs to have a meal at Los Ojos! Such a great setting in the Jemez mountains and the restaurant itself is the classic example of the "old west" vibe. But they back it up with absolutely great burgers and New Mexican green chile specialties. If you go once, you'll immediately start planning your next visit!

I love this place. Monique (owner) is stellar and has kept the feeling of community alive. Every food item I’ve ordered has been lovely, and they have a decent selection of drinks. Definitely a prized staple of Jemez!

Came down to visit the hot springs and was recommended by a friend to try out this place. Was not disappointed! The atmosphere was amazing, they had a cozy fireplace and impeccable food! Our waitress was so attentive and polite, service was amazing and the interior is STUNNING! We ordered the breaded shrimp and Swiss mushroom burger and it did not disappoint! Definitely give this place a try, you won’t regret it!

Edit: came back to the Ojos a year later and the chili cheese fries are still damn delicious. Upgrading to 5 stars bc we were able to sit in front of the roaring fireplace this time, and the bartender served me rock candy with my old fashioned.

Loved it. What an awesome saloon-style dive bar. Very eclectic mix of people too. The Christmas chili cheese fries look like a bowl of slop, but they are damn delicious. Good burgers and strong drinks and a no-nonsense tender. Definitely my speed.

When in Jemez (and hungry), enjoy a meal here! It’s even better after a long weekend hiking or camping, emerging from the woods to sip a margarita or eat a slice of pie on the patio. Los Ojos is off the main road and easy to access. Service in this area is awful, but they offer free wifi to ease you back into society.

This classic New Mexico saloon and restaurant glows with authenticity and charm from its 75 years as the Jemez Mountains' community watering hole and unofficial town meeting place. It's a family-friendly must-visit on any trip through the Jemez... the most true wild-west saloon you can find in the Land of Enchantment. Always a great place to relax both in the heat of the summer but also when the weather gets chilly and they blaze their massive fireplace and this place becomes a beacon of warmth and coziness. I always enjoy their Famous Jemez burger... yes, like this dish, this place is the most famous and celebrated establishment in the Jemez Mountains. It defines community and local history. Los Ojos IS Jemez Springs.

If you're looking for a rustic Bar & Package restaurant, you found one in Los Ojos. Enjoy the charm of days gone by. Rifles on the wall. Hunting trophies. Pine log bar stools and good food.

We split the Black and Blue Burger and Beer Battered Mushrooms. Excellent. The burger was gone before I could take a photo and the mushrooms melted in my mouth.

New Mexicans know this is the place in Jemez for a good beer and a good meal.

What else can be said? Quaint local bar to Jemez Springs with great food! Love the black and blue burger, can't go wrong with the ribs, and the prime rib Friday/Saturday nights are worth the trip from Albuquerque. Have to love it!

We had a great meal today after enjoying the beautiful fall colors of the Jemez! Connie was our sweet server and as always, there is no place like this bar and grill. We had the Los Ojos special with green chile (so good). Our bulldog got lots of love and we left happy and full. Cute creepy Halloween decorations too.

We stopped in for lunch while visiting hot springs in the region and the meal was absolutely delicious!! The burgers were tasty and the fries wonderfully crispy. Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere fit perfectly for the place. Definitely a must stop to fill your belly before doing your adventuring!

Friendly staff, warm atmosphere, well decorated with all things New Mexico and wild west. We had drinks and a late night dinner. I ordered the stuffed deep fried peppers.
