Great option to eat while in the area. It's a great hole in the wall with tons of charm and the food is excellent! Definitely recommend this one of a kind burger joint.

Just had the best Indian Taco of my life! I’ll definitely be stopping by whenever I’m passing through. Thanks good people at Dave’s for the excellent food!

Stopped on our way home from Albuquerque. We had seen it while driving to Jemez Springs for our hike. This unassuming place stole our hearts! We had the Pueblo Burger with fry bread. It was fantastic! We wish we had one closer to where we live because we will definitely drive all the way out to Jemez again for this burger! I highly recommend this for anyone coming to New Mexico or anyone visiting Jemez! Such an amazing meal after hiking!

Had an enchilada plate and a fry bread burger. Both were excellent. The attention to detail they have with their food is astounding.
The enchilada had plenty of cheese and was cooked in chili which turned the tortilla a gorgeous shade of red. This made the flavor of their incredible red chili pervade the entire dish.
Even the beans and tortillas are especially well crafted. The lettuce was crispy.
The fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and had the right amount of salt. They don't let fries sit for long and it's just one more detail they are on top of.
This is the best place to get food on the way to the soda dam, red rock canyon, and other sights near Jemez.
Watch your speed on the way here. There's a whole swath where you're going right through the Jemez pueblo and the 30mph speed limit is strictly enforced.

An amazing little stop on the way through for a day trip, exactly the kind of dive I love, and what was needed for the day, friendly service, and tasty eats

I got the fry bread burger and it was gone in no time! Best burger I had in YEARS! The owners’ dog, Haze, was super friendly and provided me great entertainment outside while I waited on my food to be made and the owners were unbelievably nice. This will be a regular stop for me when I come to New Mexico again 👍👍

50 miles from Albuquerque on the way to Jemez Springs in Jemez Pueblo is in Dave's Burgers. It's just a little takeout place but they have a pretty big menu. They make a great burger with a lot of variety. If you're ever out that way treat yourself.

A friend and I had been hiking in the general area. She had been there once before, me never. We both had fry bread and it was delicious! There are no picnic tables due to covid - makes good sense. The prices were very reasonable and a good selection of items. We'll be back for sure.

This is my favorite find since I left Denver. The enchilada wasn't at all what I was expecting but I loved it. Wish I'd ordered 10! The chicken strips are also delicious and I'm looking forward to my burger. Very clean, covid-safe, and friendly! PS: Pueblo Burger with mustard and green chillies was fantastic.

Quick bite on our way home from hiking to the McCauley springs! One of the best burgers we’ve ever had!

I was cruising through and found this place open (during covid) and I knew I had to stop. I loved stopping, how nice the lady was and the publoe burger was one of the most delicious take-on-a-burger dishes I've had. The fried bread was....you just have to try it, unbelievably delicious.

Very good burgers and fries!! Cooked to order. My sister didn't know they had chopped chili in the burgers but they fixed that right up with no problem. I appreciate little things like that from a small business! Must try!!

We absolutely loved this unassuming and humble spot. The friendliness of staff and the quality and taste of the food was excellent. Wished we had unique food like this (we had the fry bread with beans and red and green chile) in San Diego, CA. Will def be back on our next trip to New Mexico! Salud!

Wow! Why havent I stopped here before??? Let's just say the next time I won't hesitate! Saw this place while driving by and decided to give it a try...so glad I did. We ordered the Indian taco and a Chile bowl with fry bread. BOTH were amazing. Their chile is very good and spicy. I definately recommend stopping here...you won't be disappointed.

Okay. If you find yourself on NM 4 in the Jemez Pueblo you should know two things.
1. DO NOT SPEED!!! There are two cops that patrol the road and you WILL get a ticket.
2. If you see a little white folding A-frame sign on the side of the road that says OPEN, pull over next to it and get your grub on.
The little sign is for Dave's Burgers and More. I have no idea what their hours of operation are nor what days they are open. Google says they're open every day but Monday, but I don't buy it. I drive past almost every evening and sometimes they're open, sometimes they're closed. I'd suggest calling ahead to make sure they're open. Anyway, whenever I see that little white open sign I get happy. They have great fry bread, fries, and a few different kinds of burgers. They actually have a bunch of other stuff on the menu like frito pie, Indian tacos, and enchiladas. But for me is it's got to be the Pueblo Burger with cheese. It's a green chile cheese burger served between two adorable fresh made little fry breads. It is the bomb.
Seriously, look for the sign and stop. You will not regret it.

I live a couple houses down, the shop is owned by my grandparents. Everything on the menu is great , from the burgers to the traditional menu items such as the Indian Taco and Enchiladas. They sometimes sell special items occasionally like Breakfast Burritos (with homemade tortillas) baked tamales and Bread baked in the outside oven! Family owned and operated!

Went here after a hike to the Jemez springs - the restaurant is fantastic! I had the indian taco, and it was delicious - I split it, and it was more than enough for two people, for eight dollars.
