McAllister Inn

Nicely done! Roadside motel with a front door and covered rear patio, complete with picnic table and dining table and 2 chairs. Clean. Across from a great steak house that is local favorite. Separate review. View from our rear patio. Stayed here before our Madison River float trip

We were delightfully surprised by this motel. Very clean and updated but still provides a rustic, cabin-in-the-woods atmosphere. Each room has a private outdoor space. We would definitely stay here again!!

Stopped here for a night while on our way to Lewis and Clark Caverns from Yellowstone. What a great decision! Customer service was great, they have everything you could need and we had a very comfortable stay.

We stayed in room #5 which is a king room. The room is spacious with high ceilings, very clean, and well decorated. It includes a large mini fridge, microwave and nice size tv. Love that the vanity is outside the bathroom so you can still get ready in the morning even if the shower/bathroom is in use. Ample storage around the room as well if you’re staying a few nights and want to put some things away.

Was delighted to find a picnic table and seating out back where you can hang out while taking in the view. Also appreciated the helpful guidebook provided that includes some local menus.

Will definitely try to stay here again on our next road trip :)

Just off the highway. Good size room with nice TV, microwave and small refrigerator in the room. The bar and restaurant offer a nice selection of upscale dining items as well as a selection of family dining items on the bar menu. The waitresses are all friendly and pleasant.

Amazing food and service! We always make a point to stop here whenever in the area. One of the best bar/restaurants in the area.

Great location. Great view. Prices were a little steep, but the only lodging in the area with a proper 55" tv. Very clean. Would definitely stay here again if I come back. I wish the price was slightly lower. They do a very small 5% vet discount. A hotel that actually still does housekeeping. That was welcome. I asked that they isolate me if possible, because I snore and several nights they kept putting people right next to me, despite the motel being empty, but oh well, still a great place.

Clean and cozy rooms with a wild west flair. Beautiful views of the mountains and a patio that would be wonderful to sit out on warm summer nights. Absolutely reasonable prices in this day where inflation seems to affect everything😳 would recommend to out of town guests or hunters looking for a nice place to stay!

After a week at the Tetons and Yellowstone decided to spend a night here before flying out of BZM with family (wife and 2 kids), man amazing decision. Looks like it’s a newly renovated inn and the architect and interior decorator have done a fabulous job.
1. Called and in 2 mins got key code to get room keys to check in. Stayed in room #10
2. Ultra spacious room designed thoughtfully
3. Spec clean and seemed brand new with all basic amenities like microwave, fridge,…
4. Walked to open the back door to an amazing serene view of the mountains with picnic bench with private partition from adjoining room.

Would love to give this room more stars if could. Cheers and pretty sure it’s hard for someone to be disappointed. The price to value was fabulous.

This Inn met our expectations and so much more! We loved this room more than any place we have ever stayed in even five star hotels. We did not know what to expect since we have never been in McCallister and we knew it was a small town but once we got there the staff was fantastic and the room was the best in cleanliness, amenities, bed was so comfortable, private back patio with private door from room with great view of a field and the stars, bathroom was very roomy with great water pressure and so clean! We love our coffee and they had it in the room with creamer and everything. There was a fridge, clock with usb chargers, black out curtains, cable television, perfect AC, Heat and on and on!!!
We will definitely be staying here again and wish this property was in every place we vacation too! Thank you for exceeding our expectations and letting us have a great night stay it was priceless!!

This place was amazing. I enjoyed it every bit as much as I enjoyed much more expensive hotels. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the staff at the motel and restaurant were super friendly (they even gave me a carton of milk for my coffee, so I didn't have to get into a car and drive to the grocery). Every room has a small balcony that looks out at the field and nearby mountains.
The area around the inn is very beautiful as well - we boated on the nearby Ennis lake, and saw amazing mountain sunsets. There are also a lot of very cool trails a short drive from the motel.

Also - very good food at the McAllister Grill!

This place was wonderful!!! They have a nice grassy fenced in dog yard, I traveled with my dog and that was a welcome addition. It was very clean so I'm assuming guests have been good about picking up after their dogs. Speaking of clean, the rooms are very spacious and spotless. The private patios and views of Ennis Lake were lovely. The owners are great folks.The steakhouse has excellent food and service.

This place is amazing. Found on Trip Advisor. Outside is unassuming. The rooms are large with vaulted ceiling. Lovely and welcoming with attention to detail. (black towel for removing make up..) Back door to a covered patio and patio furniture. Walking distance to a excellent restaurant. Can't say enough good things.

This place is a gem. The rooms are lovely and well maintained. Services are excellent. The staff was the most helpful in the safe return of my wallet that was dropped in Boise, rested at The Mcallister Inn, and made it's safe return BACK to Noise in time for my return flight.

If you find yourself in the middle of Montana with nowhere to stay? This is it! Tell them the "wallet lady" sent you.

This place is great. One of the nicest rooms I've stayed in for the price. My fiance and I just finished 3 cold nights of camping in the Tetons/Yellowstone and we wanted a warm place to sleep/shower on the way to Glacier National Park. The McAllister WAY exceeded expectations. Tera (sorry if I'm getting your name wrong) at the front desk was very accommodating when I called and said we'd be arriving late. The room is so cozy and has everything you need and more. Plus each room has a private back patio with a great view of some local cows in the foreground and mountains in the background. Highly recommend.

The room was very nice, and check-in was perfect. We were planning on getting dinner at the restaurant and the receptionist offered to make the reservation for us. Dinner was amazing- we had Ribeyes that were delicious, as were the potato options. I highly recommend a stay if you're in the area. As an added bonus, Norris hot springs is just 9 minutes away!

Two amazing finds! Both the restaurant and the inn. Would stay there again in a heartbeat, rooms are clean with all the amenities and beautifully decorated. The food is delicious and wait staff excellent. A wonderful Montana getaway!

We were so lucky to find this hidden gem at the last minute for a trip. It was the middle of the night before we arrived and they had a note for us. The rooms were wonderful and absolutely immaculate with lots of hot water in the shower and super comfy beds.

No clue why it is rated as a 2 star hotel. Our room was spacious and beautiful, with a spotlessly clean bathroom, big tub, mini kitchen with kitchen towels and soap, and a private porch with an incredible view. The owner was super sweet as we checked in, having turned the lights on for us and leaving the key in our room. Incredible value for price and a convenient stop on our way to Yellowstone.

What a nice room!!! It’s only about a year old (as of July 2018). The rooms have nice finishes, microwave, fridge, very nice TV, big bathroom, gorgeous tall, woodclad ceiling. The bar and restaurant across the parking lot are also very nice. Didn’t eat at the restaurant but the menu looked fab.

This place is fantastic. We really had a good and relax stay here. Room was spatious and very clean. Huge TV, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Very nice shower too. And everything looked brand new. High speed free WI-FI. Also a backdoor to a private patio with great mountain view, just awesome!
