Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alamosa, an IHG Hotel

Wonderful people, We stayed here both going and coming back from our road trip and they were amazing from the management to the front staff. We had a really bad experience with the Hampton Inn in Alamosa and had to find another hotel at the last minute. The Holiday Inn was very accommodating and welcoming unlike the Hampton Inn.

I would have to honestly say this is the best hotel I've stayed at in a long time. Holiday Inns are usually pretty nice, but this one is superb. We came in late, past midnight, and the man at the desk was very kind and made us feel welcomed. The breakfast bar in the morning was well stocked and very tidy, and the food was tasty. But what really won me over was our room. I asked them for the cheapest option, so I wasn't expecting such a huge space. The bed was so comfortable that I would've taken it home if I could've fit it in my car. The bathroom was very well stocked, and came with high quality soaps and even lotion. I'm blown away with the quality of this Holiday Inn. Definitely coming back here!

I was upgraded to a bigger room, which is very nice. Lady at front desk was very friendly. There are complementary cookies and drinks. Swimming pool and hot tub are well maintained

The hotel was great for what we needed. The rom had a stained cover on the chair that was kind of gross, but otherwise it was fine. The breakfast was very good for hotel food and the ladies that manage it are on top of refilling everything immediately!

This is the best hotel in Alamosa. We have stayed at a few others that weren’t bad but this one meets all of our expectations. The staff is very friendly, rooms are clean, pool is heated and very nice, cute fitness room, breakfast was delicious with lots of options, and snack & drinks served throughout the day. We will definitely stay here again. Oh and they are pet friendly. If you are a member you get 50% the pet fee. :)

We treated ourselves to a local hotel stay for New Year's Eve. Holiday inn Express did not disappoint us. We relaxed with a whirlpool that soothed our aching muscles. We had comfy beds and a quiet room. Customer service was good and I do recommend not arriving before 4:00 p.m. as listed as we were turned away at 3:00. But that was us bad. They have a free continental breakfast and are very close to many amenities and a movie theater. The price was very reasonable for a New Year's Eve stay. We will return again in the future for a local getaway.

We had a good experience. Nice lobby with snacks and lemonade. Large breakfast area and great breakfast options. Comfortable room. Decent pool and hot tub. Good location. Good proximity to Great Sand Dunes.

We were so well received! The staff gave us “member of the day” award. It was clean and lovely. They welcomed our dog and had a great breakfast. So wonderful. We will stay there again for sure.

This is by far the cleanest hotel, I have stayed in. The employees were very respectful and professional. They are very approachable. Whether, they were cleaning, making breakfast, or working the front desk, one can tell that they value their work. I practically live in hotels when I work, so I give you my word.

The front desk staff are absolutely amazing! Our recent stay included 8 people coming in on the same day but different times from 3 different states so needless to say we weren't the easiest of groups to handle but they greeted us warmly and treated us like friends. Eva was especially friendly and was a delight to deal with. When I made the reservations I didn't know my sister would be bringing her dog. Fortunately not only was the hotel dog-friendly, they were able to accommodate the last second change without any issues. The hotel was clean, the rooms were comfortable, the fitness room was larger than expected and the front desk had earbuds available as I'd forgotten mine, and the breakfast is pretty great. Everybody from the front desk to the cleaning staff were friendly. Our stay was flawless and check-in, check-out and everything in between was great. The cookies are pretty amazing, too. Thank you for making our stay a great one.

Very enjoyable stay! The staff were all very nice. A delicious, hot grab-and-go breakfast is offered in the mornings and includes pancakes, waffles, milk, juice, pastries, and more. High quality soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided in the rooms. This was my first stay in a Holiday Inn express, and I will definitely stay again!

Great little hotel! Took a road trip from Atlanta and stopped here for a night. We had a good nights sleep, picked up food from a nearby restaurant, and visited the Sand Dunes. Decent breakfast, convenient way to refill our water, and the staff was helpful. I think this one had homemade cookies too if I remember correctly.

They had extra precautions with their mask policy. We found out later that the percentages warranted it. Bold move, I am thankful they did while we continue to learn about the changing risks.

We got a 2 queen bed room with a sleeper sofa. This room is HUGE! We traveled all the way from Florida, so all the amazing customer service was very relaxing. Rooms cleaned and smell amazing! Hot breakfast every morning! This place is well worth your stay!!

Very nice staff. Rooms were roomy, beds great. Temperature was the best of the hotels we stayed at. Breakfast great. Able to do laundry there. Refrigerator ,coffee maker and microwave in room. Used pool, hot tub and fitness center.

This hotel was amazing! The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the pillows and beds were extremely comfortable! On that note if someone from the Holiday Inn staff happens to see this I would love to know what brand of bed and pillows you guys are using? My wife and I have been thinking of replacing ours since staying at this hotel and our bed is only 4 years old.

Back to the review though, everything was very clean and comfortable, high speed internet was reliable and the Continental Breakfast was just what you would expect.

The hotel staff was very welcoming and even offered snacks for us before heading to our room. The room itself was clean and spacious and bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with more than enough towels. Breakfast was complimentary and was rather good for a hotel breakfast. My only wish would be that it stayed open a little later than 930am. The staff was also prompt to take away the hot food items, before checking to see if the guests still eating may have wanted some. Check out was very simple and didn't require a lengthy process. Overall I greatly enjoyed my stay.

This is a great hotel conveniently located along the main road in Alamosa. I came here before visiting Great Sand Dunes National Park and was very satisfied with my experience. I checked in and went up to my room, satisfied to find that it had two comfy beds and a nice bathroom. I put down my suitcases, laid down on my bed, and ordered takeout from Wendy’s. I left the hotel, picked up my food, and went back to my hotel room, where I ate the French fries I got from Wendy’s. After finishing my dinner, I fell asleep and woke up the next morning. I woke up, ate breakfast, and checked out of the hotel, satisfied with my experience. I gave this hotel five stars because it has nice rooms.

Outstanding level of service for this class hotel... from the front desk guy that quickly checked me in and helped me pick a good restaurant for a family dinner to the nice folks keeping the breakfast buffet stocked with food. I appreciate that they have continually made updates to this property to keep it feeling new and nice. My kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and free cookies, snacks, and lemonade in the lobby. It will be my first choice if I happen to spend the night in Alamosa again!
