Love the security man. He was so nice, the ladies were funny and sweet. I had a great experience; even though I was a tad nervous taking the eye test.

Very friendly staff! They were quick and thorough and were able to help me and my husband in about 45 minutes. One of the easiest DMV experiences I've had!

Yes, they have changed their location but said they can't get Google to change it. (It's now on the side street to Walmart. Easy to find knowing that).

Anyway, I'm turning 70 & must say this was the BEST experience I've ever had at any DMV since first obtaining my license at 16, so that's saying a lot! (I'd like to be able to drop a star saying the photographer was lousy but sadly, the subject matter of that photo is solely to blame). ;-)

I had moved back to Colorado from another state so made sure I had all paperwork required before scheduling.

Also, while most DMV's are now booked for weeks or months, I was able to get an appointment for the very next day in Alamosa (once I got through on the scheduling #). They had openings for the full week & more in Alamosa. Wowsers.

Know that no matter what # you call, they all feed back to that same # for the main appointment line. You can't reach the individual offices. THAT is a nightmare.
None of that is the fault of the individual offices. It's apparently all for lack of hiring enough personnel at that ONLY scheduling #.

IMNSHO, I'd personally prefer the govt spend less money on war & more on hiring citizens to work those programs that benefit us citizens.
But heh, what do I know? /sarc

When i had to get my driver's license, we did have to wait outside the building because of covid-19. Typically would have to make an appointment online prior to this arriving. I give this five-star rating a little reluctantly because they would not accept my original Washington DC birth certificate from 1960. It was the only birth certificate I used all my life and in several other states but apparently wasn't good enough for colorado. I don't know why that is maybe people aren't familiar with old birth certificates. Anyways that caused a halt and made it getting my driver's license another two to three weeks. Covid 19 sure did a number on our government system and life in general. Regardless received excellent customer service at the counter even though I went away disappointed the first time.

My driver's license was about to expire in a couple days. So in a panic my GPS takes me to the old DMV. Turns out they moved over behind chili's. To my surprise I was told I would have to make an appointment.
The employee told me he would try to squeeze me in.
David helped me and he was very quick and efficient.
Also David has great customer service skills!

Dang it if I don’t HATE the DMV. But Jason and David totally make the 3+ hour drive worth it. They’re friendly, flexible, knowledgeable and they make they convoluted system almost seem like it actually works. 5 stars to this DMV plus only a week for appointments!

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. They assisted us through the technology and answered questions thoroughly. Best time I’ve had at any DMV!
