Hampton Inn Alamosa

Whatever was going on in the southern part of the state the last weekend in September, all hotels were fully booked. We showed up without a reservation and were literally going to have to take whatever was available - or sleep in the car. We got the last available room for the night at the Hampton Inn. The hotel was very nice, very clean - and the room was great. It was upgraded, clean and roomy. We had the continental breakfast the next morning, and it was great, too. - And we got all this without "surge" pricing. We paid a fair and reasonable rate for our stay. This is one of the nicest chain hotels we've ever stayed in, and we would absolutely book here again. (In comparison, we spent the next night at the La Quinta in Durango - and we paid almost double for not as nice a room; not as nice a hotel; and fewer amenities.) Absolutely book here. You will not regret it.

This hotel was perfect for our needs. Lots of parking, convenient location to stores, food, and the Sand Dunes. The staff was friendly, and the whole place was very clean. The beds were actually comfortable, the shower had great water pressure as well as high quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers. The bathroom was large with soap and lotion dispensers. The room was spacious for our family of 4, with easy temperature control, a large TV, mini fridge & microwave, as well as USB-A outlets, and a little coffee maker. The breakfast was good: biscuits & gravy, omelets, potatoes, bagels, muffins, oatmeal bar, cereal, waffles, fresh fruit and more. And the coffee was actually great! I would definitely stay here again.

The staff greets you at the door and makes you feel welcome. The room was clean and fully stocked. It’s located on the outskirts of Alamosa, but finding the building was easy. Being out of town also kept it quiet, which allowed for restful sleep.

I did not stay here but my sister had a bday and was staying here alone. Amber at the front desk was amazing and helped me surprise my sister she went above and beyond. Thank you for helping me create a memory for her.

My wife and I stayed here during a 2-day, 1-night visit of Great Sand Dunes NP and Royal Gorge from Breckenridge. The front desk staff members were outstanding; they provided a comprehensive printed dining guide and they were very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed dining at recommended Rubi Slipper in downtown Alamosa. The hotel is about 2.5 miles east of downtown on US160 and is within a nicely designed complex including hotels, shops and a movie theater. We had time to drive out to GSDNP at night and be awed by the spectacular night sky. This hotel met our needs perfectly.

This hotel is clean, well lit and has a better than average breakfast that changes a little every day. The staff is amazing, especially Scott at the front desk. Wifi was much too slow on occasion.

Great value! Rooms were modern, staff was great, and breakfast was nice. We'll be back!

Staff was friendly, the pool was actually heated, the room we stayed in was amazing and clean. They had coffee all night for night owls such as myself with a full breakfast in the morning. Also conveniently next door to a Walmart, just in case you forgot something.

Fabulous as always for Hilton family hotel. Beautiful view of surrounding mountains and close to local attractions. Desk staff is professional and provided great recommendations for local restaurants. Rooms are exceptionally clean and well maintained. Breakfast staff is energetic and provide an excellent way to start one's day.

Can’t beat the location. Get a room on the 3rd floor and above looking east, and you’ll wake up to the magnificent panoramic view of the Sangre De Christo mountains.

A big comfortable king room. A hard working friendly hostess in the breakfast area with plenty of options to choose from.

Provides a beautiful view of the Sangre de Christi mountains at sunset. It’s a well-decorated fairly new hotel. Great that it has 2 EV chargers.

Great place to say. They even have a peloton now since the company has partnered with Hilton hotels.

AJ, Lance were wonderful, they greeted us upon checkin and always welcomed us whenever we met. Amber was the night manager and was very helpful in resolving charging our car! Breakfast was excellent the menu varied each day. The restaurant manager was wonderful. Pool was great. ONLY HOTEL IN ALAMOSA WITH A FREE EV CHARGING STATION! They could use more stations!

Great customer service! They really helped me out when Holiday Inn across the street lost my reservation. These guys found a room for me and even contacted another hotel in the area to check if they had a bigger room. Thank you!

Probably the best hotel in Alamosa. The room was very clean. The complimentary toiletries smelled great. The complimentary breakfast was great! The southwest omelettes were fluffy with the right amount of cheese. Restaurant quality in my opinion. The building was well maintained and everything was clean. I would highly recommend!

We had to go to Alamosa unexpectedly due to my dad passing. The front end staff made our stay amazing. They knew why we were there and they helped us in every way possible and made us feel like they actually cared.
