Alamosa Economy Campground

There was a negative review done in the last 24 hours. I am currently staying in Alamosa economy campground and it is nice and quiet. Yes it is dark at night. Most prefer that when camping! The new owners Harold and Jasmine are doing a great job of keeping this place clean and trying to make it better. It takes time and a lot of money to make a place perfect! Regardless of what the negative review said...if there is homeless here it's NOT a bad thing...please come and stay here...yes at the current time there is only one bathroom...but it's ALWAYS clean! Give this place a chance like we did. You won't regret it! I know I haven't!! And given the chance I will come back again and not someplace else! Keep up what you're doing Jasmine and Harold there will always be 1 negative Nancy out there.....just remember all the good!

Good place for a quick over night stay or even a few days stay. The owners r gr8 friendly people, that strive to have a gr8 environment n keep all the people that r staying on the premises happy n safe. They r also in the works of renovating some of the property to better serve the park. So if u have a chance, go by and see Harold n Jasmine (owners) at Alamosa Economy camp grounds. There prices r not bad either. 👍

My fiance and I drove up from Tx on a tight budget on the 4th of July and of course most Camp Grounds were not only full but they were pricey as well, until we found the Economy camp ground. So far we've stayed 1 night and it was quiet even for a holiday. The owners seem very nice and down to earth and they have plans to keep making this camp ground an even better place in the future as funds allow. It does take time and money to make things happen but I think they are doing a wonderful job so far and hope to see what else they are going to do in the future. For the price we paid and the spot we camped in I would give it a 5 out of 5 star rating as the place was quiet, shady, and clean. I don't have anything bad to say about the place and plan on staying a few more days and most likely will return to this location anytime I'm in Colorado and need a spot to camp.

Great little place to camp! Recently under new ownership. The new owners seem to be putting a lot of work to spiff the place up! They have an r/c course, arcade, and pool table in the club house! Lots of trees and shade! Close to town and easy to get in and out of! I'd definitely come back!

Second stay here for work. Quiet little place. 30/50 amp service open year round if you have heated hoses full hook ups. Sara is a gem. Mostly dirt and rock but it’s Colorado there isn’t much grass around here. Clean. Safe even for a toddler to be outside. Small community with a home like feeling. We will be back yet again, count on us.

Loved the friendly atmosphere - my 3 little mini pinchers loved walking - owners friendly even had a bbq- met wonderful friends - Great spot and off the hwy convience - you will get a little noise. .we were staying one night and stayed 7 - Wonderful little fires in evenings for all to enjoy.

These guys are awesome!! Open 24/7, I was driving around late trying to find a spot-no one else would answer their phone and KOA was $46 to car camp!!! Super pricy as I was just passing through camping in my car. The gentleman who ran it -sorry didn’t catch his name- answered at midnight after driving around and the car camping was $20! It was a steal! And a super chill place to camp. Thank you!!!!

Alamosa Economy Campground is a awesome camp ground with down to earth new owner's they have great prices for tents and RV's who now also are accepting monthly stays! They also are a Dog friendly park!! For fun thing's to do they have a RC racetrack and also have a RC Rock crawler course in the back. They also have a club house with a pool table mini arcade area. The club house also has soda machines an Vending machine it also has a bathroom with a shower. The best part is the owners are always doing their best in doing Improvements to make it a even better stay for you at the park! I definitely recommend Alamosa Economy Campground for you an your family or friends!

The new owner is awesome the price is great very friendly great view of the sky at night very quiet and secluded tent spots I love staying here and will again soon

Awesome place to stay. The owners are trying there hardest to up grade everything. Would recommend this place to everyone traveling thru Alamosa.
