Ivan's Appliance and Small Engines Repair

I've gone here for dryer parts before & they tested my fuses & element & helped me to fix it myself instead of saying I needed an expensive repair. Recently my washer stopped working, so I called Ivan first and he was booked and couldn't make it right away. Me, being an impatient person, made the mistake of calling another company with a shorter wait time and that was the worst thing I could've done in this situation. The other "repairman" came out, spun my tub, told me I had a serious problem & I needed to buy a new one because my machine was too old to fix. (it's only a few years old) he refused check anything else & when I questioned him he raised his voice at me & got so disrespectful that I had to tell him several times to leave my house. AND he wanted to charge me $80. So I called Ivan back, he came out very quickly & within minutes found the problem, which was not what the other guy said. Also, he didn't charge me a dime for coming all the way out to my house. His wait time may be a couple days longer than the other place but that's because he's actually working and he's making an honest living. He truly cares about his customers and I'll never go anywhere else for appliance repair.

Talked to Brenda and Ivan and the helped my diagnose a dryer problem over the phone. They had the part I needed available that day.

On another occasion, I took a video of what was happening to my washer and when I showed it to Ivan, he knew exactly what it was. AND it was cheaper than the part I though I was going to buy.

I rate them very high in knowledge and in honesty!

Ivan and Brenda are very knowledgeable, helpful and their customer service is excellent. They are my go to people when I have appliances that meet repair.

I was told I had to pay $40 up ahead when I dropped my lawn mower for repair. After I haven't heard from them for a while, i stopped by to see what's going on. I was told he couldn't get the part to repair it and told me I owe him additional $20 for the phone call.
They are super scammers.

This place likes to scam their customers. went there to get a warranty sevice for a generator. my service wasn't covered by warranty but instead of calling me and letting me know, he did the work then wants to charge me 90$/ hour for his labor and 8$ for a spark plug. I tried to ask them why they didn't call me before proceeding (without my permission) to do the work. I was met with "do you think they are fixed with magic" from the lady that works there. THOSE ARE HER ACTUAL WORDS SPOKE TO ME. I also asked for a high-altitude carb to be put on (which would be under warranty) he said "they company said they didn't have any" the actual manufacturer uthat you supposedly talked to doesn't have any parts sound like a lie. Do not bring your stuff here to be serviced they will squeeze whatever dollar out of you. bad customer service. I tried to ask Ivan himself why he didn't call me before he did the service and his reply was "well take it up with Champion then" then ending the convo. like I said bad customer service and relations. would not recommend to anyone
