Dr. Garland did a wonderful thing when he hired Mandy. She is the staff member you hope to speak with - kind and knowledgeable. I am thrilled to have Dr. Garland as my neurologist again. He was amazing when I was a kid and continues to be wonderful now that I am an adult. Very lucky to have him!

We recently switched to Dr. Garland from another Neurologist in Idaho Falls. The reason for the switch was the other Neurologist does not see his see high acuity patients until they have been a patient of his clinic for over 3 years. (That was what his staff told me). Dr. Garland did our H & P and exam. He does not use midlevel's for this, which was ALL we able to see at the other Neurologist. Dr. Garlands office has been prompt and attentive when request are made and follow-up questions responded to quickly. It is a night and day difference in a positive way.

I just returned from Dr. Garland’s office and my hubby and I are more than pleased. The office staff was very professional and sensitive to my needs. Dr. Garland is seeing me for a concussion that happened over a month ago and I was worried that with my condition, he may brush me off and it would be a waste of time for everyone. Well, it was the complete opposite. He was very sensitive, thorough, kind and more than helpful today. He took time with me, wrote down lots of notes and I feel very hopeful that he will help me feel better soon. Thank you, Dr. Garland and staff.

Staff couldn’t be sweeter, they were able to get me in quickly, and Dr. Garland was great. He took the time to talk to me, review my concerns and ultimately give me a diagnosis! Love this office and all that work there!

Dr. Garland is one of the best Neurologists in Idaho Falls. Trina, Mandy, and the rest of the office are top notch and do their jobs very well. You are in excellent hands in their clinic.

Dr. Garland has been my neurologist for over ten years. I started seeing him when I was 11 and he has been a great doctor and help with my epilepsy.

Always had what I needed, doctors and staff very personable and helped me through a very tough pregnancy.

Dr Garland was great but his office manager(trina) is the worst with patients. Speaks down to them, speaks over them, acts as if she can say no wrong, I hope he cleans that office staff up quickly before it ruins his business.

Dr. Garland is a wonderful doctor. He was able to diagnose me with my problem almost immediately. He is very knowledgeable and patient. His staff, however, are very distant and slow with the patients. They are not very good at returning phone calls at all. Their emergency number doesn't get back to you either. Don't expect things to get done quickly with the staff at this office.

Doctor was good however caution with accounts receivable. I was unaware of a $27 bill and without contacting me they sent it right to a collection agency. I was not contacted by a collection agency. 2 years later I go to refinance our home and discover they have dropped my credit rating 100 points for a $27 bill I was completely unaware of. He may be a good doctor but his office support needs to do a better job. Unimpressed.

The Doctor is great and thorough, however, the office policies could benefit from an overhaul. Be prepared to pay not only your copay at the time of the visit but also your coinsurance amount (or deductible amount) for any procedure you might have at the office, before they bill your insurance. " Sure, we'll see you, but be prepared to pay up front." should be part of their advertising.

Dr. Garland is a great Dr. I wish I can continue going to him. What has made me switch is the front staff/receptionist. She was very rude, disrespectful, and didn't care if I ended up in a seizure or not. I was 7 months pregnant with my son and had 3 days left of my medications. I called to get a refill but she stated she can't get me a refill because I was passed my yearly apt. I was unaware of this and the closest apt was 3 months out. I asked if I could get refills until that apt. She stated nope I will have to wait to see him. Having epilepsy and being pregnant is very stressful if I came off my meds 3 days later I could of potentially been sent into a seizure and potentially kill my baby. She had no sympathy and pretty much laughed at me and said sorry can't help you tell we see you! I have now switch Dr.s and that Dr. was able to get me my meds as I scheduled. I will NEVER return to this office because of the disrespect she for someone you can go into a full blown tonic colonic seizure while pregnant.
