McCowin Park

We went to the park for the Hot Air Balloon lighting. It was great! They really did a great job. There are a lot of food vendors. This is a great park to visit during the day. There are plenty of things for the kids to do or to have a family picnic.

One of the better places to take my 18 month old during summer. Many places to play.

An update here 4 years later. Still a great place for kids to play. I think the wood chips need to be swapped with something more kid friendly. Kids run from the splash pad to the play structure without shoes and I can't imagine wood chips are very pleasant on bare feet. OTHERWISE, we still love it!

Very clean park and very spacious. Frisbee golf, tennis courts, splash pad, swimming pool, picnic tables, it has it all.

This is for sure one of the cleanest and well kept park I've ever been to!

It's big, has covered picnic/gathering areas, nice big grassy play areas, toys, a pool and a beautiful gazebo.
It's also away from the main road, tucked back in a nice neighborhood.
We will for sure be going back!

Pumpkin walk was fun so many wonderful creations. Really cool themes very fun for the whole family.

Today was a day to spend there just sitting and enjoying the sun after getting off work. The park is really beautiful and kept clean. I wish I had taken some photos

Mccowin park is a beautiful place with a city pool, tennis courts, disk golf, and other sports built in. Along with the bicycle path around it, its no wonder this is my go-to park to fly my drone, take pictures, and spend time with my family.

Love this place. Learned to swim at the pool. I played softball as a kid. Many, many picnics & family gatherings. Now I walk the track.

Very nice place to be, especially in the summertime. Pickleball courts, splash pad, swimming pool, soccer field, walking path, baseball field, and park! Its always a fun experience!

We love McCowin park. Especially in the summer when the splash pad is running. There is a lot of open space and plenty of safe space for your children to play. Only disappointment is the size of the community pool. Wish it was bigger to accommodate more of the community at a time. But it is always clean and well staffed. Love the little snack shack as well. My children love getting snow cones the days we visit in the summer.

Great park! Lots of space to play. We appreciated having the large canopies available to keep cool. Only downside was that the play area was pretty crowded by 12pm. We'll have to try visit much earlier next time. Also can't wait to bring my littles to the splash pad when it opens up in June.

Pool is decently large, very clean and safe. Splash pad is amazing. Absolutely no smoking in the whole park. Has lots of trash cans for easy disposal. And plenty to keep your family entertained for hours. Highly recommend

McCowin Park was home of the Ammon Scottish Festival...to be held every May, for all of South-East Idaho to enjoy.
The City of Ammon was gracious enough to provide this beautiful park for our use. But, due to repeated bad weather, and a lack of local support...the gathering of Scots was not to continue.

We loved having Lunch in the Park at the splash pad this past week and can't wait to go back soon!

I love their splash pad! It's free! It's fun! They have a set of swings, public bathrooms, also a decent size play ground! Their grass is nice and green and plenty of shade! They have the gazebo you can have party's under and I think they have grills too! Awesome place for sure I'll add pictures when I get some. Usually I guess I'm to busy having fun to remember haha

I love this park has great area for my kids and dog and myself to play or have a picnic or whatever. I love that they have a disc golf course there it is very fun and challenging for a beginner like me.

A nice looking park. This park has at least three little baseball fields, a frisbee golf course, a pool, a walking path, and a spot to play soccer. There are public restrooms and they are well kept.

Splash park is great fun for toddlers, small playground nearby, swings, family shelter, sun shaded picnic tables. Right next to tennis courts, swimming pool (pay), free bathrooms, and snack bar place.
