Mother Sauce

My husband and I have eaten here a few times now and sampled several plates. This place is on another level! Mother Sauce goes beyond food-cart food, and it stays honest within it's Italian roots. The chef is quite obviously passionate- it shows in the way the ingredients are skillfully combined, which lifts traditional dishes to new heights. I love that the menu rotates based on seasonal ingredients. Hubby and I are both foodies and Mother Sauce DELIVERS. I have yet to have anything I didn't like; I especially love the roasted carrot salad and gnocchi. Honestly, this food cart deserves a brick and mortar location. It just blows all other local food carts out of the water.

Not only the best food truck food I have ever had, it’s the best food outside of home cooked food that I have had in a really long time. I had the pomodoro pasta with italian sausage and half order of garlic bread. Wife had a panzanela salad and shared a pumpkin cheesecake. Everything was AMAZING!

I misread the menu. I saw Pasta Pomodoro and read “pesto” something. I started to ask for the pesto dish, and my wife pointed out that I’d read it wrong. The owner spoke up and said “I can do a pesto for you…” the rest should be history… maybe it will be!

We ordered a cold pesto something and the pasta pomodoro. The pomodoro was outstanding, the pesto was out of this world! I will be back as often as I can (I live in Mac so that should be very).

Mother Sauce is obscenely good. I just ate the gnocchi, and I am blown away. Eat here and follow these folks on their journey up because food this good usually goes for $30-$50 or more.

Had the cutest interaction with one of the employees just outside! I’m not aware of their pronouns but they wore cute rainbow suspenders🙃 seemed like a very cute place!!! If you see them working make sure to give them a tip!!

Had the Fettuccini Bolognese and Saucy Burger. Both were excellent and reasonably priced. Service was fast and very friendly. Plus delicious Foreland beers in the same location!

Amazing food and service! Honestly some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back!
