Tie Creek Campground

Great campground with a drinking water pump and bathrooms. Not very many access points to the river, but if you get a campsite with one, you will love it. The only issues were the other campers; with dogs off leash, running around, and families/kids not being taught consideration for other campers. If you want the Great outdoors with river sounds, nature, and getting away from people, DO NOT go to any paid site like Tie Creek. Having said that, Tie Creek itself was well kept, clean, laid out great, and a good place for RV's.

Great campground by the river! Two bathrooms for both genders. Smaller campground with about 9 sites in the loop, fills up quickly. There is a spot for people to get into the river at that can get busy.

Site: newly updated BBQ, fire pit and table. 1 tent site, plenty of room for additional tents. We had a 12 person and a 3 person tent with plenty of room for another larger tent. Spacious sites and areas to leash the dog.

-Dogs are allowed.
-Water pump with fresh water.
-No trash.
-RV spots.
-Overflow parking can fit 5 large vehicles.
-some highway noise.

Really nice campground right off the paved road. Vault toilets and a well for drinking water. Most outside campsites have direct river access. Spots fill quickly so arrive early and expect it to be full. Firewood is available 1/4 mile before the campground from a local resident at 5 dollars per store sized pack.
Mosquitos don't seem to be an issue as all the water is moving.

AMAAAAAAAZING spot. Right on the water but far enough to be out of the way. The bathrooms aren’t awesome, but the campsites are large and fairly private. Can’t wait to come back!

Tie Creek gave a nice variance of campsites. We pulled in during a May rainstorm, unable to find a single dry spot at any of the upper CGs. Waiting for us, situated in a sandy bend in the Middle Fork of the Payette, was a tent-only haven.

Such a great place to stay. Water access, very clean bathrooms. Try to stay closer to the back of the camp site. Lots of dust gets kicked up from people driving the dirt road.

Nice, small campground with around 8 sites. If you get a site on the creek side, there are short paths that lead down to the water. Very beautiful and decent amount of shade. Each site has a newish fire ring and a sand pad for tents. There is one basic porto-poty in the middle, clean and had hand sanitizer.

Nice well kept dry campground with outhouse.

If you love Idaho and outdoor activities, you are in luck. The Tie Creek campground is close to both a river and hotsprings. Also just up the road is a forest service cabin you can rent to camp in if a tent is TOO outdoors for you.

We spent just about every weekend camping at Tie Creek growing up. Was in Idaho over the summer and drove my wife up so she could see it. Just some great memories.

Great place to camp. The outside spots near the river are very nice. All of the spots are large .

Nice clean quite spacious campgrounds. Walking distance to the Middle fork of the Payette river.
