Epic trailhead access to Pilot Peak. Lots of snowshoe/snowmobile enthusiasts to watch out for around the immediate area.

Excellent snowshoeing trail network an hour drive from SE Boise. The Whoop um up loop trail was well marked. The parking lot was clean with space for several cars.

We went x-country skiing and snowshoeing and had a great time. We went about 4.5 miles on the groomed trail, and our pup had a great time in the snow. Parking lot is very large, albeit backed with lots of vehicles. The bathrooms were open albeit packed with... well you can probably guess... this place must get a lot of traffic!! 😅

One of if not the best spots to snowshoe near Boise in a 1-2 hr drive. Whoop um up parking lot services one of the best trail systems in Idaho city area. We come here every winter for snowshoeing or yurting adventures. Also have xc skiing trails if so inclined, but honestly it is much more designed for snowshoeing.

Beautiful trail and well maintained. They have a nice yurt that one can make reservations at park and rec website. The scenery at night is spectacular at the yurt with lowlights pollution.

Snow snow snow! Snowshoers, xc skiers, snowmobilers, tree-cutters, dogs, kids, adults... There is something for almost everyone!!! There are trails in multiple locations catering to each activity, and everyone plays so nice together. Great place to start your winter venture!

Great park and ski went snowmobiling outta here this last winter lot is well maintained empty in the am but packed by mid afternoon.
