Ya know when you go to a motel in the sticks and the desk person is say, off-putting? Upon arrival I thought that's where I was, but I was wrong. SUPER FRIENDLY guy at desk, awesome experience here

This place was so weird and the man at the counter so nice that I loved it! The junk outside gave an unintentional mad max vibe. Sterilized tourist hospitality centers lack the character of this kind of place. I never have things to talk about after motel 6 stays, but places like this provide tons of inspiration for stories. My room had 4 refrigerators and the cable TV had static like it was broadcast TV with a weak signal. How many rooms have you stayed in that have had 4 refrigerators?

The room was old but clean. It was just what we needed for a couple of hours of sleep. However, the 5 stars is for the service from the man at the desk who I assume is the owner. He was incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. What a sweet kind soul. He made it such a pleasant experience for us. Thank you sir!

Had went to the thunderbird and was disrespected by the gentleman at the front desk. He wouldnt rent me a room because i was JITTERY, whatever in the world that means. So I went down the road to the highlander and was welcomed with courtesy and he even complimented me on my new car. Place is a little older and can use a little TLC but the room was clean and wasn't treated bad like at the thunderbird. Thanks for making my stay better after such a horrible treatment at that other place.

This please is great. It authentic but functional and clean. And the people were very nice.

It was great for the price.
The guy at the front desk was super friendly. Excellent internet connection! Very small but it was fine. There are train tracks practically across the street so that was a downside but it wouldn't stop me from staying there again. It is an older building but it was clean. They also put out a small tray of donuts in the morning. The walls are pretty thin but there weren't too many people so it wasn't an issue.
If you ask for a quiet room, you'll get a room on the other side of the building which means that you won't get parking right in front of your room. Between the train and the guy next door watching tv, it wasn't really a quiet room.

Ok .. so I stay in different hotels nearly 100 nights a year, and being on the road so much has led me to value 2 things in a hotel room above all else .. a comfy bed, and a nice TV .. and this place crushed both for sure! Now apparently they do have different mattresses in different rooms, so ask for one of the "soft beds downstairs". The owner did mention having all the others replaced by next year too I think, but anyway, they are just soft enough to be comfy, but pretty firm and supportive too, so a pretty good balance. As for the TVs, they are 42" LGs, whereas most other hotels only have the 32" ones, so that was nice .. as for the rest of the room, it was pretty dated, but in oddly good condition, so imagine 60s pastel porcelain sink and wood paneling, but shiny and new like it was put in last year. 😂 Oh, n wow, the owner was genuinly one of the most delightful humans ever, so factor in the great deal, and ridiculous prices in town of the 3 biger hotels, and I would give the entire experience a solid 9 out of 10! Highly recommended!

Love this little gem! Absolutely wonderful family running the place. Great value. Definitely seems like it’s glory days are a few decades behind it, so manage expectations.. but beds were comfy, and we had no complaints.

It was a cute place, obviously an older hotel. The plsce was worn but cleaner than most places i have stayed before. The people were nice, the experience of checking in and out was easy. The only down side was the parking was a little awkward. Would go back.

My husband is on a road trip right now and just checked in. He wanted me to write a review so he wouldn't forget to. He says, the office manager was really friendly and helpful, the room is dated but very clean and will make for a great nights sleep. He highly recommends the place and says the price is great.

We got in late and the hospitality was great! Bed was comfortable shower was awesome and the best internet connection. We are traveling and I will say this is the best...we normally stay at chain hotels and this place only was vacant we took last room and next time I go through Idaho this is were I'm booking. Clean and the place was great!

Internet is slow (2mbps) cheap rooms, smoking and non smoking, 50$ a night. They leave you matches if you go smoking. Heat starts kicken after awhile. Coffee and tea when you check out
No complaints. Its a cheap hotel with friendly people if thats what your looking for

When I first came to idaho I stayed one week here and it's a cheap place and comfortable 😌

This place has been updated, it’s an older motel it’s clean the owner is friendly. He is also very accommodating. As for the bad reviews it’s a budget motel. If you want a 5 star experience stay at a 5 star HOTEL.

Super friendly staff. Clean, large rooms. Restaurants and fast food within walking distance. Affordable.

Yes, the place is outdated, makes you feel like you're back in the sixties. But always clean, and affordable. Owners couldn't be any friendlier. We always stay here when passing through.

Not a very comfortable place to stay. But for the price it is okay. Their customer service was good and friendly. I really liked my stay here.
