The Hideaway Grill

We have been frequent dinner go-ers the last 6 months. Every time we have gone, the food has been excellent. They have the best soups! Their bang bang shrimp is a must-have. Here, we ordered the Hideaway burger which has the yummy honey bourbon sauce on it. French onion soup is always a go-to also. And it’s the first time we tried the Hot spinach jalapeños bacon dip - omg sooo good and the baguettes that come with are Ahhhmazing! The two dinner servers are THE sweetest and so attentive. My iced tea and waters are never empty.

I've never wanted to give more than 5 stars in my life... this place is phenomenal! The service lady was very friendly all 3 times we came. The food was exceptional beyond expectation. The food is very tasty, portioned very fair, priced fair, and even looks perfect. We tried all of their skillets throughout our 5 day camping trip in payette-ontario area. We even tried an omelette which was very good.
The environment is pretty cool and relaxing.. not too loud.
My family and I used to go to a place called grandma's kitchen back when they started up but they are no longer there and we told the waitress about it and she explained how they are owned by the same family and stuff which is really cool. She explained the name idea for the restaurant to me. I was thinking the hideaway was named that because back in the day the old cowboys would hide away from the law and the ladies here would feed them. However the name is called the hideaway because it's tucked away in the back of the parking lot. It's hard to miss but you don't want to miss it.. get on in there and try it out!!

This place is amazing. I DETEST GREEN BEANS! I ate all of my green beans before I ate anything else. I have no idea what the owner does to make them sooooo good.
I had the 2 pork chops and loaded baked potato plate. The pork chops were almost as amazing as the green beans. The entire meal was fantastic. The staff is also extremely friendly. It’s a great mom & pop restaurant.

Great service and even better food. The wait time is a little bit up there but the food makes up for it. If you're looking for a nice family owned diner, this is absolutely the place to go. **picture is of the French onion soup**

This place was amazing! First, the breakfast was delicious and fairly priced (something that is always appreciated). Second, I left my phone here before traveling North and had to make a 3-hour trip back to retrieve it. The owner Erica was kind enough to hold on to my phone after the place closed and even allowed me to come pick it up at her house. I even got to meet her family and have a brief, friendly chat which was a very rewarding experience.

Their dedication to their customers and the quality of their food is second to none. Definitely come here if you're in the area.

We brought my nephew to Hideaway Grill for his birthday dinner! They had steaks cooked to order and I had a hamburger steak well done. It was well done... and it was melt in ur mouth tender and delicious. The mushrooms and onions and gravy are top notch! Grilled to perfection! So yummy!

Service is ALWAYS awesome here. We were welcomed with warm smiles and seated quickly. (They had a medical emergency while seating us as well. They were very professional and caring.) U will NOT BE SORRY if u choose to dine here. Alone, as a couple or with the family. Check them out!

So far I have tried the country Benedict, the buckwheat pancake and the small combo breakfast (I forget the name). Everything has been delicious. My hubby has had a skillet and an omelet and enjoyed both immensely. Great service. Great price. We'll be regulars.

My husband and I were so lucky to stumble on to this diner. The service was excellent and the food was great. I had a Cuban burger. It was unique take on the traditional Cuban sandwich and I really enjoyed it. The restaurant was very clean. We had really great lunch at a very reasonable price.

Fast, friendly service in a very clean establishment! The food was excellent and worth the slight price increase over something more fast food oriented. Presentation, quality, and flavor are all five-star in their own right but the service really takes this place higher than your average burger joint. Nice work Hideaway Grill Team!

Great food. We went for all you can eat ribs but they were out. We got finger steaks, pork chops, chicken strips, and chicken fried steak. All was very good. Side salads are huge.

I had breakfast delivered to my house today and I am VERY happy with the food. The eggs were cooked to perfection and everything was delicious. It took about 2 minutes to have it all eaten! It was VERY perfect and I am SO SO GRATEFUL for the delivery services. THANK YOU for what you're doing for our community. God bless and keep you safe.

We really like this place. It felt like Hometown used to be. We did show up an hour before karaoke night on a Thursday so we missed that part. Doing a couple of songs would have been cool. The food was amazing. the service was amazing.
anytime we are heading back up north and the future this will be a definite stop for either breakfast or dinner.

By far the best restaurant we have been to in a long time! Husband and I went there tonight for our anniversary and he said "Their western burger is the best burger he has ever had." I had their baked penne pasta with the chicken and bacon and it was SO good! Reasonably priced, and very friendly staff! I would give it 10 stars if I could!

Went on a Sunday. We were seated right away, but had a short wait for food as it was towards the end of lunch time and there was a larger group being attended to also. Well worth any wait - These are some of the BEST fries I have ever had!

It was our first time at the House grill. Good food I had the finger steaks in my wife had the Reuben sandwich. Karaoke was really fun as well. Ken the DJ did a very good job. Everybody in there it was very nice and it felt like family. Only one thing was it was pretty tight quarters and a lot of people talking rather loudly while you're trying to sing but other than that was a very awesome place

This place is sometimes crowded, only because it is the best breakfast restaurant in the area. The serve more than breakfast, but that seems to be what most folks order here. Probably because it's excellent. Service is great as is the prices. A must place to enjoy a hearty meal when you're in the area.

The ambience leaves little to be desired, as it’s quite banal and boring. However, the staff and service was great. The service is prompt and swift. I ordered the mozzarella cheese sticks, the baked penne pasta with cheese, and the creme brulee. The food is fantastic. My only con is that this joint doesn’t offer a veggie burger. With such an extensive menu and over 30 burger varieties to choose from—there is no veggie burger on the menu. Why is that? I would love to see one offered or as least a burger substitute offered in the future.

Their homemade cinnamon rolls are amazing. They can easily satisfy two people. The service was quick and spot on. Really great place to stop for lunch if you looking for a great well cooked meal.

Food was so good. Had a salad, the melissa's gut buster with potato salad, and chocolate cherry cheesecake. Not what I'd consider a cheap meal and portion size was average. They more than made up for it in quality though. Everything was fresh and tasted homemade. Definitely will be back next time

My husband and I ate here last night and he is a huge fish and chips fan. He has always said no fish and chips in the treasure Valley compare to Red Robin, until he visited the Hideaway Grill! He said the fish and chips here are the best he has ever had, and he thinks they might be better than red Robin!! I had the patty melt which was absolutely fabulous, we had jalapeño poppers that were awesome! We did not wait long to be seated, the waitress was very attentive, the food was excellent and the prices are very inexpensive, I was surprised at such great tasting food at such a reasonable price, we will be back for sure! Overall, we give this restaurant 5 stars, we just need to find out when happy hour is 😂 we will definitely be there more often!
