Great place to stop and walk the trails. Picnik tables, great beach spots for kids to play or just relax by the river. Cute little bridges and beautiful mature trees line the nice river trails. The trails are very well maintained and there is a restroom. Lots of beautiful wildflowers and places for great pictures. Great little sneak away spots for privacy and relaxation by the river.

I've stayed at this turn off wayside several times for a total of 12 days and 11 nights. Aside from the periodic check-in from the rangers to make sure we were still trying to get our RV moved, we were left alone entirely. The bathrooms are clean, and the trails are long and gorgeous. Honestly there was nothing about this rest stop that I didn't enjoy.

This is a nice little wayside park. There's a handful of paths that will take you straight down to the river, all of them very easy walking. There's a few metal picnic tables along the way and a restroom in the parking area. I visited here to take photographs of the river and the rapids and really enjoyed myself.

Love this spot. It's great for fishing and bbqs and has spots that are great for toddlers to play in if you can handle some claiming and jumping while carrying little ones. They also some easily accessible parts. Not many easily accessible spots on the weekend (they have five river spots and some great hiking trails) but weekdays it is deserted and so incredibly peaceful.

Great place, easy trails and some cool river spots. Took the family and panned for gold and found some pretty quick. Great fun for the family. It is a fun place for dog walks as well.

Ample scenery with bathrooms just north of it. No garbage receptacles, but we met a biker that hooked us up with free smoke one day. That was greeeeat

I love it you can come panning down here almost any time alot of people say there's no gold left here id say there wrong this is one day of panning! Look on the half moon beach. Don't dig sand get below it onto the hard pan. For more local info go to Misery Mountain Mining on Facebook!

Though the weather was overcast, it is still beautiful, with the sounds of the water cascading over the small falls it's very nice
