Ayutla's Family Mexican Restaurant

I travel every week for business. Restaurant was recommended by local clients. ABSOLUTELY the BEST Mexican food I think I have ever had and the salsa was extremely flavorful and fresh. Super service. Authentic decor.

Giving five stars because the food is great, but the staff goes above and beyond. Over holiday weekend they were obviously very busy and stretched thin, but they really stepped up to make customers happy. Was really impressed with the level of service. Had a variety of dishes on the menu and each plate came out hot and fresh. If you're passing through Goldendale and are looking for great food, make sure you stop in at Ayutla's. Lastly, we were served very quickly. It did not take long to get our food. Definitely coming back the next time we're in town.

Maybe the best pico de gallo I’ve ever tasted. It was chipotle style, smokey, and just hot enough. Overall the food was really good, service was great too even though they were fairly busy for the lunch crowd. A bit on the pricier side, with a range of “up-charges”, but worth every penny. Clearly they know their value. Can’t wait to go back.

This is the best Mexican food! The chicken or camerones la crema with warm corn tortillas is what I crave...large portions, hot chips and always good, no matter what's being served. I always ask for a less spicy salsa, because it's a little too hot for me. They have a senior menu for lighter appetites, but I always order a full meal with beans and rice, a little expensive at around $20, but I take it home for another meal. Seriously, worth it. The restaurant doesn't have steps into it, so we've taken my parents there. Good location, right off the exit, and they play Mexican music. The service is good...sometimes excellent, sometimes not as much because they get very busy. We've only had one kind of grouchy woman bring the water, but maybe she was having a bad day. Doesn't really matter, because this is our favorite place to eat in Goldendale. There is a small charge now for paying with a card, so we bring cash. I tell everyone driving by to eat here. You can walk in and usually not wait long, and won't be disappointed. Excellent food.

Food was brought to us fast within twelve minutes or so of ordering, and the service was helpful and welcoming. Anything you order will be worth trying, and I will make sure to come back again.

My wife and I had a very nice lunch in this clean and friendly restaurant . The Chile Relleno’s are especially good. Very attentive service and fair prices. We will be back.

A friend and I stopped at Ayutla's after riding motorcycles all day in the hot Eastern Washington sun. The cool and clean interior was refreshing, and our meals were delicious! I would happily eat here again!

This family-owned and operated Mexican restaurant offers all of the classic dinner dishes and drinks you love. I recommend the enchiladas, which have quickly become one of my favorites. If you're up for the blended margaritas, they are excellent on a hot day. The staff are all super lovely and very attentive to the table. You will always have drinks, chips, and salsa as long as you are there. I have also heard that their nachos and carne asada are excellent. Of course, the staple of any good Mexican restaurant is solid salsa, and this place knocks it out of the park! Thank you again for the great meal; I'm sure we will return shortly!

I came in not knowing what I wanted to eat, I said surprise me. It was absolutely amazing. Good thing I only vist once a year! Bad thing is I only visit once a year!

What's a great host. We landed there at 9 pm on July 3 which was a busy day for them and they were about to close early. The host there accommodated us when he realized we had 2 very hungry kids with us. They got us a quick takeout ready. We wouldn't have found anything else in the town a it was pretty late so really thankful for their going out of the way to accommodate us. The tacos and enchiladas were yummy.

Every time I go here, the service is outstanding! Yummy drinks and my favorite food items are Pollo Crema, Chicken Fajitas, Carne Asad Street tacos, nachos, and quesadilla with ground beef.

This is a cute little restaurant that we swung by for a to-go meal on a road trip.
I have a limited diet and they were able to accommodate me with a side of beans and a side of taco meat. And they threw in the chips and salsa and it was only $12 total before tip!
It was so good we plan on swinging back by on the way home from our trip.
I didn't try one because we were driving, but the margaritas looked amazing.

Awesome margaritas and food! What a great find in such a small town. Conveniently located by the hotel which enables you to walk after the margaritas!

First time visiting Ayutla's. Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted and were seated quickly. They have a large selection of Mexican food dishes, so it took us a few minutes to decide. We were provided with chips and salsa, along with our drink selections. Once we ordered, it seemed like only minutes before our food was brought to us. I had ordered the chicken with MOLLE sauce, served with rice and beans. It was very good. Our groups other choices were very good also. Service was great. Prices were about what most can expect. I can definitely recommend Ayutla's.

Food was amazing. Was hot that like 90 degrees outside got into the restaurant and the air conditioning felt so good along with a ice cold blended margarita was absolutely perfect 👌 for a day like that. I left there cooled off refreshed with a fully belly and a smile on my face.

Friendly staff, busy and hard working. Dined here 1-25-2023, I had two mixed drinks which were on point, and a salad with cilantro vinaigrette. The music was not too loud which means the ambience was enjoyable. Thank you for that. The family restaurant is easy to find, parking is simple to get in and out, and the neighborhood seems to be safe. I Imagine the front of the house and back of the house staff should receive a better wage than what they are receiving now, they deserve more.

Food was great, the wait for drinks and then refills was quite delayed. Atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable.
