I stopped at the market for lunch in the middle of a day trip. The inside of the market is spotless, stylish, and stocked with a wide variety of high quality, and (I think) mostly local goods. The person working the counter was really polite and greeted me on my way into the shop. The lunch prices are pretty reasonable and the quality of the food is outstanding. I had their burger, which was tender without being undercooked, and topped with fresh lettuce and cheese. The bun was perfectly soft and buttery. I'll definitely be stopping by here again if I'm in the area!

I was lucky to enjoy one of the last two " almost famous " Bluewater Kitchen Farmer's BLT sandwiches and those incredible fries. Nothing like a couple giant slices of heirloom summer tomatoes and thick bacon and sourdough bread.

Delicious food - and an overall excellent experience for our 4/30/22 wedding (that we waiting 2.5 years for). Bluewater Kitchen is an incredible caterer! The food is second-to-none, and incredibly plated, perfectly made. The staff was fantastic and very attentive to our vision, ensuring every aspect was covered. Christina was incredibly helpful and made choosing the rental items a breeze! Every time we are in the area, we like to go to say hi and visit their store for a tasty lunch. We cannot recommend them enough for all of your wedding and event needs!

I just stopped in for a steak and cheese sandwich on a snowy Saturday, and I am not exaggerating that it was the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. The bread alone was like biting into a warm buttery cloud paired with the most delicious meat, and amazing seasoned fries to boot! By the way they also carry Bunny Mellon Apple Butter, which makes the perfect souvenir gift for a weekend in hunt country! A must visit!

The Bluewater Kitchen team catered our wedding and they were nothing short of sensational. Rehearsal dinner, wedding party lunches, reception, and farewell brunch were flawless and delicious. Their versatility and passion for local high quality food and service truly creates a special experience from start to finish. It was such a pleasure working with Christina and Rachel coordinating logistics and Chef Michael executed consistent and delicious meals the whole weekend. Can't recommend this team enough. And if you're ever in the Upperville area, you have to stop by their market (The Market at Bluewater Kitchen)... That burger... Wow.

My wife and I stopped by today and ordered to go 2 hamburgers and fries. The burgers where so tasty. The meat was very good quality. The roasted tomatoes really added a good flavor and all was served on a brioche bun. Best burger we have had in a long time. French fries where hand cut. Highly recommend.

Bluewater Kitchen catered an event for my non-profit organization at a nearby vineyard. From working with our budget, to providing creative options for the menu and presentation of the food, to the service, this is a top-notch group. The food was totally delicious and made our global guests rave! You can't go wrong with this caterer!

I cannot rave enough about Bluewater Kitchen. They catered our micro wedding in Bluemont, VA and everything from the food to the service was phenomenal. Christina was so kind and helpful in making our vision come to life. She walked me through some last minute changes to the rentals and sent me photos of different place settings to help me decide. Her and her team were wonderful on the day-of and made sure that the entire event ran smoothly. 100000% recommend!

Lunch, catered dinner, or a drop-in for some pantry essentials Bluewater ticks all these boxes. It also helps that the staff here greet you with the warmest sincerity that you'll find at any cafe or restaurant, this goes a long way and it should be highlighted. They also have a new space that's available for outside eating which is equally fantastic.

I've had many of meals here (take away, catered and sit down) and have yet to sample anything which didn't bring absolute nirvana to my pallate. Don't even consider if you should go or not, get in your car and just go. It's worth the trip and even the drive is on a very scenic route of Northern Virginia that winds you through some of the most beautiful landscape in the state.

An amazing market to grab delicious sandwiches and local food. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to stop in and just look around. The BLT was one of the best I have every had, I suspect due to the fresh ingredients.

The porchetta sandwich was the best sandwich I've ever had in my entire life! Each ingredient could stand alone (even the brioche bun was to die for!), but the combination was simply out of this world. That's what I love about Bluewater Kitchen's food. Very approachable gourmet! Everything is top notch and I love that it's food you can dig into and really, really enjoy. The fact that it's locally sourced is the cherry on top. I'll be brining my friends back for sure!

Event Director Christina and Executive Chef Michael will go well above and beyond any expectations that you may have for your caterer to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for! Pre-COVID, we reached out to them to cater our 200+ person wedding. They put together a beautiful and intimate tasting above a flower shop where Chef Michael came in to explain each course and was receptive and happy to make any changes that we needed for our event. From the instant you meet them, you can tell what an incredible team they have. They were warm, responsive, and both easy to talk to and put us at ease about our decision. But the best part of course...THE FOOD! The appetizers, salad, and main entree all blew us away. Every bite we had we said was the best bite of the meal (and possibly our lives). The crazy part was that for such a special five star meal their pricing was comparable to bigger box-store type caterers. Their amazing service, food, and price made the decision easy and we left our tasting knowing we had found our caterer. When we had to change plans from our big wedding to a small private dinner, it was no problem for Bluewater Kitchen. Not only did they cater our small family dinner, but they provided the venue at their new beautiful cottage event space. They made it so special, setting up the venue with twinkle lights and floating candles. All of our family were blown away by both the food and the amazing service, so much so that the dinner was all they could talk about for months. We can’t wait to work with them for our rescheduled reception in fall 2021. Great place to pick up prepared meals and local specialty foods. Some of the best dolmas around, and the smoked whitefish dip is delicious.

The best southern food in the DMV, but stop often because it always goes fast.

Very friendly and their home made perogies are delicious! I will be back to try your other items… Thank you for making perogies…they are so hard to find in this area!
