Super friendly staff. They got me in fast for my appointment. My Dr today, who was Desiree Davis, FNP-C Listened very thoroughly. Told me my options and someone (her) finally explained to me what had probably happened bec its been going on for 10 years. What we would do for the future etc. Thank you Jesus! I will be going back and highly recommend her! 10 Stars 🌟

Dr Velyvis is a very knowledgeable doctor. Was able to tell my daughter exactly what was wrong with her knee and provide her with the brace she required. This provided her the peace of mind she needed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Been going to Dr Wenkstern 3p years. 3 surgeries, all successful. Transition smooth to Alicia Thompson White. No problems, nurses very nice. New office staff ,just learning, not had training and experience dealing with patients. We are afraid, and need a cheerful smile and enthusiasm. Appreciate their efforts.

First time I’ve had to take my six year old daughter to an orthopedist and we were very pleased with the care we received. Dr. Alfahd was great with my daughter and made sure we understood and his nurse that wrapped the cast was absolutely wonderful, very personable and demonstrated her passion for her job. I’d recommend them to anyone.

I've had only positive experiences at Sovah Othopedics. First, Dr. Wenkstern did a wonderful job of surgically repairing my broken ankle. Six years later, I'm good as new. No residual problems. Now, I am facing full hip replacement surgery in a couple of months. Dr. Alfahd will be doing the surgery. He has been kind, reassuring and most informative about the procedure. His support aleves some of the fears I feel about the surgery. I'm ready to get this done!

I am new to the area, and this was my first visit here. The facility itself is old, and outdated, not unclean. I can tell regular cleaning is being done, however, it just isn't enough to help the outdated, slightly grungy appearance of the facility. The front desk staff greeted me as I was signing in for my appointment, there wasn't a long wait to be called to the front desk again. The receptionist was knowledgeable, and helpful. The only improvement I would make, is for them to be friendlier, but they weren't rude. The nurse Stacy that took me back for my visit was friendly, very thorough, informational, caring, and helpful. She explained a few things about their practice, after she learned that I was new to the area. The X-ray tech was funny, and sweet. I enjoyed meeting Dr. V, that's what I will call him. I just don't want to spell his name wrong. Even though my old doctor's office hadn't sent my records, he did an examination, and was still able to help me get the shots I greatly needed. He could have sent me away, and asked me to reschedule, he was well within rights to do that. But instead, he was pleasant, helpful, and I would be glad to visit this facility again. Overall friendly staff, and great experience. Four stars only for the facility appearance, not the staff.

The only problem I have is the people working the front desk are not friendly and never answer the phone or return phone calls if you have and questions about anything at all you have to go and speak to the in person. Also I'm have g a little trouble getting some paper work filled y them for my employer

FNPC Davis has no business giving steroid injections in knees. I have constant pain in my left knee since Aug 18 which I didn't have prior. My knee was swollen with no pain. X-ray showed arthritis.
I have had 2 visit with doctor John Velyvis who offered a toradol shot, no help. 2 visit doctor offer to remove the fluid and another steroid injection. I declined Then he ask have you had a MRI?

I want to start by saying Dr. Uosife Alfahd is a medical miracle worker! Absolute pleasure for myself and family to deal with. He is kind, intelligent, and very comforting. That being said, the receptionist at this office makes me want to go elsewhere. After having a very hard surgery I have to dread for my family or myself to call for questions or concerns. It was their job to assist me on filling out paperwork so I could receive disability. I will be out of work for 6-8 weeks minimum for my surgery and I depend on that for my family when I am out of work. I stressed to her until this is filled out I can not get paid. After having a surgery the last thing to help recovery is stress. I took my paper work to the office the day before my surgery and it took them 10 days to fill it out. I called three days later (post surgery) to check the progress and she said to me that they just got the paper work and I told her I brought them in before my surgery and her response was “oh”. I love Dr. Alfahd to pieces he has made this surgery easier than I had imagined. That receptionist has not only been rude to me and my family over the course of 3 months. I never write a review but it’s unaccetable to be scared or dreading to call a Doctor’s office because of the way you will be treated. We can come to the window and it’s never a “hello, how are you?” It makes us feel like we are an inconvenience, and it’s a shame with how talented Dr. Alfahd is.

Very nice just gave me a runaround to my problem. I haven't had arthritis in my back for 30 years!!!! Just my opinion and hopefully insurance pays for visiting.

A Nurse Practitioner has no business being in practice and treating patient's without a Doctor there with them. The way that I was treated she should be ashamed of calling or associating herself with any kind of Medical practice. I broke my wrist and hand in October 2021 and it's still not working properly or healing. Now I just learned yesterday that my hand Bone's that meet your wrist are crumbling. Surgery is now on the table with plates, screw's and pins. Don't go here.

I either fractured or srained very badly my ankle, they never went over my medical history or the medications I take. He came in and told.me that it was sprain and would take 8 weeks to get better. Put me in a boot and gave me a prescription that I had to wait for to be ordered and when I got it I could not take it because of winter actions with other meds that I take. Today he percribed something else that I cannot take and want to argue the point with me. I will not go see this doctor ever again.
