Colonial Heights Senior Citizen

Had a great day with the Crochet group and then stayed on after and watched another group make wreaths for fall! Enjoyed watching them and I finished my hat I started and was able to turn in also and put tag on it From the Heart, so was able to add to other things I had turned in along with the other group items also turned in from knitting and crochet group. Very friendly group of ladies and gentlemen come to the senior Center. Happy to be a part of it!

Stopped by to check out the center. Everyone was friendly, director came right over. She proceeded to take me around to the different activities going on. Place was clean and well maintained. Sat in on the knitting and crocheting class. Enjoyed chatting with the ladies.

The building was used for a birthday party, and it was very clean and neat, had all the needed tables and chairs and all easily accessible. The kitchen area was also clean and very convenient for use. Parking was great and plentiful.

Lovely place, they have a Scrapebooking time on Mondays, and Tai Chi on Tuesday. This is sitting Tai Chi, we are hoping to get some more people together to form a standing class. I'm not a senior (I'm 35) and not from Colonial Heights, but it said all beginners were welcome, and it's free! You can't find any Tai Chi around here, and in Richmond it's very expensive, so this is a great find!

Great place for many activities, check it out, you can go for exercise, knitting and crochet, they have trips, and bridge card playing and much more activities on different days. Come by and pick up a monthly calendar and see what's up also check out the Colonial Heights community book they send out in mail every quarter tells you all about it.

They have these scented plug in things everywhere .. they are awful! Many people have allergic reactions to strong scents ..
Open a window or throughly clean the building but please destroy the plug in things.

Where else can a citizen of Colonial Heights rent 6 hours in a banquet type facility with a kitchen for $100? This is a steal, but leave the alcohol out of the equation as this is a G-rated facility.

First time there,had a wonderful time dancing and enjoyed the Antique Band , seeing all our friends from Hardee's.Hope to do it again soon.

Very great activities and exercises for the elderly and disabled people.

Best I've seen in tricity area and I believe open to nonresident but check first. Lots of painting classes.

Best excise group! Everyday schedule always something available. Trips, loads of events.

The Senior Center is an amazing place for seniors to meet, do activities, go on trips, have lunch together and have fun
