I will be visiting here again. Everything about this place is awesome. The campsite, the owners, their employees and the amenities. This is a great place for families and people with pets too. There are lots of RV camp sites with both pull through and back-in sites and tent sites too. The kids were never bored here either since there are multiple activities for them. There was also wireless service that comes with your site and since we are living in such a technology-based world, this is wonderful. The bathrooms were always clean too which is difficult to maintain with water and outdoor activities onsite. Then, On top of all of this, I came in with a RV that had a problem with the electric hook up. Someone had put a generator plug on my trailer and I didn't notice it. The Whispering Pines owner and his workers actually created a fix that converted the generator plug to work with the 30 Amp connection on the power supply. This made my stay so much better since I didn't have to find the solution myself. Not many businesses would do this for someone. Thanks!!

Whispering Pines is a great family camping spot. If you like your own private beach spot pick spaces number 92 through 100. Make sure you pay attention to the length of your vehicle, though there is no extra room and you will need to disconnect and park your vehicle if you are tight. Has a cute little store with anything you might have forgotten and town is extremely close. very family oriented with a giant, bouncing pillow, playground, and a private little mini lake called Sharon‘s pond. We always enjoy going mid week when it’s a little more quiet. I will say that you’re close to the freeway so you will hear a little noise if you are sound sensitive. you are definitely park in and not close to the water.

Clean amenities. Right next to the Yakima river.

Friendly staff who stays on premises.

Potable water, electrical hookups, dump, secure bathrooms with showers.

Dog park and rec room.

Highly recommend stopping her if you are heading west or east though Washington.

This RV Park, on the Yakima River is outstanding. I am a frequent customer, and every year they have worked to expand and improve it. It's nice to see a business reinvest in its property and business plan. Please keep the prices reasonable. Great job.

We had a wonderful stay at Whispering Pines. Enjoyed all the trees a shade in our campground. Lots of places to walk and our kiddo to ride her bike. Bathrooms very clean. Staff very nice and helpful. Love the store a lot of stuff offered and good prices. We will be coming back.

We stay here on our way to the Washington coast. Nice quiet park in a good location. Owners have made significant improvements over the years and they really cater to families. Highly recommend.

We loved our short stay! Check in was easy. The bathrooms and showers were amazing. It was a game changer to have a hot shower after a long hike. You could hear the freeway, but it was like white noise - didn't bother us too much.

Second time we have stayed at this fabulous RV park. Situated in a very natural and serene setting . The owners/staff were super friendly and accommodating. Would totally recommend this to anyone whether your passing through or want a great park to bring your family.

We stopped here as our last stop before heading home over the mountains back to western WA. The staff was incredibly friendly, and very accommodating when I needed to add an extra day thanks to a spring snow storm closing the pass. The sites are taken care of, and there wasn't the sprawl of "stuff" that is common with long-term renters that is common in other places. Finally (and maybe most importantly), the bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. It's nice to be able to take a hot shower and use the facilities without being grossed out. Definitely take the time to walk along the river, it's very relaxing and scenic.

A hidden gem! This park is clean, safe and lots to do! Don’t let the close proximity to the highway scare you! The river and the wisp of the wind in the many trees drowns out traffic. The river walk is fun and goes for about .5 mile. You can go to ur past the pond and pick up more trail heading east, too! The sites are well situated and most have at least electricity and water, with many having full hook up too! The pond is great for row boat, kayak, paddle board and swimming. Dogs like it too! The giant pillow keeps kids happy and the dog park is good sized. Just a few miles from great mountain biking in Roslyn. The Roslyn historic cemeteries are a cool experience also. Great park with lots to do!

We're new to the RV game. This was our second stay at an actual RV park and these guys set the bar high. After an underwhelming experience at a mainstream competitor's park, we set our expectations low. We were immediately impressed by the warm reception and well maintained facilities. We had a spot along the pond. Took a short hike, plunged into the pond and made dinner. Internet was unimportant, as we didn't even turn on our phones. The only reason I heard the traffic was because I read reviews prior. Our spot was probably one of the closer ones to the highway and didn't notice noise until I tried listening for it. In other words, non-facfor. We'll definitely be returning..

I’ve Stayed here multiple times. The staff is great! This park is close to Suncadia, cle elum, and Roslyn. About 90 minutes from the Seattle area. Just be sure to get a spot with full hookups if you need them. I accidentally booked a spot without one time. Otherwise love it here.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We wish we could've stayed longer. We are full timers traveling in a 43 foot fifth wheel.
We stayed for 5 nights in site 52 which is a 100 foot long site. There was a ton of space between sites as well.
Our site had 50amp power and water, but no sewer. The bathrooms were right beside our site and were very clean.
There are 2 dump stations, but they ask that you but rinse your tanks there.
The laundry was a dollar a wash a clean.
Firewood for sale for $7 a bundle, fire pits for rent for $7 a night. Picnic table at each site. Store on site had any necessities and bikes for rent.
Lots of people used the lake on property to float, paddle board or kayak. There were tons of walking trails along the river. The park is gated and safe.

Great location just off 90 and close to town. We were able to bike to Safeway, pioneer coffee shop (amazing espresso), senor bones (great burritos), Dru bru brewery, and the high school where we used their pickleball and tennis courts (nice courts with signage to say open to public when school not in session).

For the kids there was a very cool jump pillow that was huge!

Really pretty space and nice facilities. Close to town and trails. Only downside: we were next to a campsite that seemed to smoke 24/7 so we couldn’t enjoy the outside and had to stay inside our RV most of the time. Wish there was a policy against smoking in the park!

Editing to change from 4 stars to 5 because owners had such a fantastic response 👍🏻

Our first time staying at this campground in Cle Elum! It’s so amazing and a hidden gem. There’s a general store on site, a gated dog park, a few playgrounds, a new activity area called the “jumping pillow” which my son couldn’t get off of the whole weekend! There’s a laundromat and coded bathrooms and it felt really safe here. There’s a small pond for swimming, paddle boarding or any other non motorized sport. Beautiful area and well kept! There’s also the Yakima River which is right behind that you can walk to. Will be coming here again!

A little slice of paradise!
We were so happy that we found this RV park that we moved to a private beach spot & since it was after the holiday weekend we had the whole river fed pond to ourselves.
Everyone who works there is a delight to speak with, the store is cute & stocked pretty well (no eggs). They are adding on with more and quit large rv spots. They have a clubhouse with a nice outside area and fenced in dog park with shade and chairs..
The water main was broken while we were there but fixed in one day...they communicated and compensated. We plan to come back with friends who also have side x sides, as you can ride right out of the park, across the highway and up the hill to miles of trails.

Well maintained campground/RV park on the river. After traveling over 10,000 miles across Canada and from Maine to WA we can honestly say this was one of our favorite RV parks. It helped that it’s late in the season so it was very quiet and not many campers here. Our dog was a happy camper too.

We had a blast here. Got a pull through site, had tons of space with a 35’ toy hauler. Park is clean and staff was friendly and informative. We brought our utv and were able to ride into town and into the hills all from one spot, it was perfect. The dog park was great for letting the pups run off leash for a bit but also tons of places to walk them, river access, fishing. This place rocks!
