The Goddard School of Stafford

The Goddard School has been a huge part of both my children’s growth and I am grateful for both Ms. Justine & Mrs. Wendy who take the time to ensure that all of the children are in a safe space to learn and grow. I love the daily communication between staff and parents on how my children’s days were & the Tadpoles app is always full of photos and detailed lesson plans of their daily adventures at the school. Staff members always have a kind greeting and a fun story to share about my children’s day. My oldest enjoys the school-age program and loves riding the Goddard bus with his friends. My youngest absolutely loves the newly installed playgrounds and he loves the variety of planned activities and educational toys that his classroom provides. I look forward to seeing my youngest continue to progress and ultimately become Kindergarten ready.

I cannot say enough positive things about Goddard and the incredible impact it has had on my daughter's early education and development. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted by warm and caring staff members who made us feel like part of their extended family.

The facilities at Goddard are top-notch, providing a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play. Every classroom is thoughtfully designed with colorful and engaging materials that spark curiosity and creativity in young minds.

What truly sets Goddard apart is the dedicated and passionate teachers who go above and beyond to ensure each child receives the attention and support they need to thrive. My daughter blossomed under their guidance, gaining confidence, social skills, and a love for learning that will benefit her for a lifetime.

The curriculum at Goddard is both comprehensive and age-appropriate, striking a perfect balance between structured learning and free play. I have watched my daughter grow academically, socially, and emotionally thanks to the enriching activities and projects she participates in every day.

Communication with the staff at Goddard is seamless, with regular updates on my daughter's progress and opportunities for parent involvement. I always feel informed and connected to her daily experiences, which has been invaluable in supporting her growth at home.

I wholeheartedly recommend Goddard to any parent seeking a nurturing, high-quality preschool for their child. My daughter's time here has been nothing short of transformative, and I am grateful for the positive impact it has had on her development.

We have been extremely impressed with the Goddard School. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and do much to foster community. How do they know who every person walking through the door is? It's also incredibly reassuring! We are also happy with the high quality of teachers and development with their preschool program. They are always doing something interesting and engaging. They also provide the teaching plan, so it's easy to reinforce that day's learning at home too. Well worth it!!

This school was the best decision I made for my son’s PreK learning. There is very little turn over and it’s obvious the staff really care. They also, take the time to ask you about you! Which is so nice. There is also this app that you download when you enroll your little one called “Tadpole” and the staff give you a written lay out of the day with multiple daily pictures of your child engaging it whatever activity they are doing at that time. That was SUCH a game changer for me as a first time momma and first time letting go after getting through the pandemic so close together and attached. They were great with separation anxiety. The only negative (if you can call it that) is that my very quiet and mature for his age boy naturally picked up a lot of not so quiet and mature habits from his friends hahah. A small price to pay for the peace of mine this school gives you. I would like to add I am not a paid reviewer. I did this because I truly feel like my son has grown and feels completely safe at this facility. He loves going to school. Now, sadly his time is coming to an end as he graduates PreK and is off to kindergarten. BUT Goddard has an awesome summer program that includes water play and lots of fun that we send him to upon his request.

My children have been to a few different daycares due to relocation but Miss Wendy - from day 1 has made me feel welcome & assisted as a parent. My children have learned so much which is the goal before kindergarten. My 2 year old can sign for 10 different commands & speak greetings/colors/numbers in English & Spanish. My 5 year old has refreshed me on history lessons so im glad he’s learning & retaining information. Each class keeps kids busy with sensory activities & science projects are weekly. I’m satisfied with the care my children have & have trust in the leadership. I’ve run into some teachers outside of their work who have taken their time to compliment my children & if you were to put yourself in the shoes of that moment, to me it shows they are going above & beyond vs avoiding saying anything at all. I would recommend any age coming to this facility.

My boys (4 and 2) are THRIVING here. Their teaching techniques are in-step with ours. They communicate very well and ultimately want your kid to succeed. They understand that children learn differently and are quick to adapt to the situation. We receive great reporting every day from the teachers. We could not be happier with this school!

Ms. Justine is a caring and loving director and she will assist whenever she can. I love this daycare, my child is happy and thriving

Love this school! I always feel safe when I drop off my daughter that she’s in a leaning and caring environment.

I LOVE LOVE this school. It took my son (3years old) two weeks to get used to it. He wakes up every morning asking to go to school, even on weekends. Ms. Justine and Ms. Jennifer keeps the kids busy with all kind of activities. I feel safe dropping him off everyday knowing he will be taking care of. The classroom is super clean, teacher is very experienced and attentive, activities are creative, and the fact there is an app to see what your kiddo did is a blessing! (I love receiving pics of him throughout the day).

My children have been attending the Goddard school for 2 years now. I can honestly say, I've never been happier at any other facility. I love that my daughter can count to ten in Chinese and Spanish, can write her first name, and can count to at least 20 - she JUST turned 3. I liked the Goddard school so much that when I saw they were starting their own Kindergarten program, I applied to teach it. As a certified teacher, I can tell that they are really focused on the education and aren't just trying to "fill spots" with children. As an employee now, I also see behind the scenes and can still say there is nowhere else I would be comfortable placing my children. I now have a 14 month old who has been with Goddard since 6 months old and I have been so comfortable with leaving him in the hands of his teachers everyday. My favorite part, both as a parent and as a teacher, is that they started using the Tadpoles program so I get pictures and updates throughout the day of what my children are doing at school. It makes me feel like I'm experiencing part of their day with them! All of my children, age 6, age 3, and 14 months love it there. I highly recommend the Goddard School of Stafford!

My kids, ages 1 and 5 have been going to the Goddard School since September 2014. I am very pleased with the nurturing care that has been provided to my children. I would like to point out that my 5 year old is currently participating in the Kindergarten program with Ms. Ashley Castillo and she is an excellent teacher. She is patient and you can tell that she truly cares about the children and as an involved parent that is really important to me. My son has learned so much from her and I'm very pleased with the outcome. My 1 year old is currently in the guppies classroom and I love all the teachers there. The care and attention they provide shows they are doing what they love. Ms. Lisa, Ms. Tracy, Ms. Tiffany and Ms. Evie are all great with my baby. I really like how thorough Ms. Tiffany is and how loving Ms. Evie is. Last one at least is Ms. Veronica. Ms. Veronica is excellent. She is so cheerful, always smiling and in a good mood and so loving and caring towards my boys. Ms. Veronica is one of the reasons why I enrolled my children in Goddard; when I first called to inquire about the Kindergarten program I was sold, all because of her cheerful voice on the phone.

The Infant day care program is absolutely stellar. The care providers take the time to get to know my child and understand her unique needs to make her days there enjoying. The daily activity report coupled with the photos is a great system that the Goddard School has to keep track of infants needs (diapering, feeding, naps, and activity's) and the photos are nice for Parents. The adorable hand painted and crafted items my child makes as an infant is nice to have and a great learning and educational aspect that the Goddard School offers. The Goddard School feels like a safe and enjoyable environment for me and my child and I'm so proud to say that this place is where I take my child every day.

The Goddard School in Stafford has been a delightful experience for me and my family. My daughter has been attending the Goddard school for three years now. I can honestly say, I've never been happier at any other facility. I love that my daughter can count to ten in Chinese and Spanish, can write her name, is spelling, finding sight words, is learning to read, etc. I cannot believe she will be graduating from the Junior Kindergarten Program this June.

Ms. Angie and Ms. Maya welcomed us with open arms when we first started. I can honestly say that I was extremely pleased with both of their performance and interaction with my daughter and her classmates. When my daughter moved up a class and had the opportunity to be with Ms. Shalik last year, her ability to relate to each student and address each of their needs makes her an outstanding professional in the field of teaching. And now being with Ms. Candice and Ms. Alieen with both of their cheerful personalities, consistency, dependability, and, most importantly, dedication to their students I can honestly say my daughter will be fully prepared for Kindergarten.

Each morning and afternoon when I pick up my daughter, I’m always greeted with an upbeat greeting and immediately a synopsis of how my daughter’s day went. The staff is always happy and interested in what my daughter has to say and I completely trust and feel at ease knowing that my daughter is in good hands while at school. My daughter always has wonderful things to say about all of the teachers.

I’m saddened that we will not be able to continue with their program due to a move out of Virginia, but I would highly recommend this Facility in Stafford, to anyone in the area or moving to it.

This school is amazing! My 3.5 yr old started school only a few months ago, and was not very proficient on numbers and letters. The previous daycare just wasn't providing any strong curriculum for the preschoolers, and when I brought him to Goddard I could see how big of an issue that it was. Thankfully Ms. T is amazing and has, in just a few months, got my son on track with others of his age. I feel confident in his progression to Pre-K and proud of how often he points out a letter at random. The Stallions (infant) room is beyond any expectation you may have. They treat my infant as if she was able to communicate and understand. They do sensory play, singing, dancing, readying books, and all other types of interaction that keeps her little mind growing. You can tell the teachers care about their kids, and that makes a huge difference in their growth both physically and mentally. I highly recommend this school.

No one could ever assure me childcare centers are loving, safe, and educational all in one-until coming to Goddard! My son is safe, academically challenged, and in a wonderfully clean and nurturing environment. Most daycares are paid just to watch your child as they run around... Here, my son has a new curriculum everyday and I feel his teachers are truly dedicated to their jobs. This center is called a school and not a daycare for a reason--From the look of the classrooms to the many arts and crafts, yoga, different languages my child is introduced to--I fell as though my son is truly at school and not just being babysat at a daycare. The prospect of moving and not being able to send him here depresses me. Please do yourself and your child the greatest justice and send them to The Goddard School at Highpoint in Stafford! (I don't rate or review-ever! But this schools owners and faculty deserve so much more so I hope this is even just a small, thank you!)

My son and I are incredibly fortunate to have an extended family at the Goddard School. The teachers, Ms. Nidia, Ms. Tria, and Ms. Kerry go out of their way to ensure all the children get the education, care, and attention each needs and deserves. It's amazing how each day my son teaches me something new on the car ride home! I am so proud of his development and I appreciate all that the teachers at the Goddard School have done for us.

The Stafford Goddard School where I work is a wonderful place, a place where beginnings are encouraged, learning is nurtured and hard work rewarded. The well trained management leads by example, showing up on time and always ready to pitch in and help out. Teachers take pride in their classrooms and students. All of this works together to build a harmonious and efficient environment for children to grow and explore new concepts in learning.

One of the special aspects of the Stafford facility is how well they implement the Goddard vision for successful child care and early learning while still bringing their unique touch to it. This all begins with effective orientation and a deep respect for the Goddard policies.

Safety and compassion are a focal point of the management team.

As a long time employee of the school, I have watched it grow and evolve into a more effective curriculum based environment where lesson plans are reviewed and implemented according to plan. Observations are a key factor in maintaining excellence and every teacher is aware of the management’s open door plan. It is not uncommon to see teachers and management to pull together and hash out a creative solution to resolve an issue.

Best daycare/preschool in Stafford by far. We've been here for almost 3 years now and we couldn't be happier with them. Ms T is an amazing teacher who is super dedicated to toddlers actually learning. The new owners are fantastic and the staff is all around amazing.

Clean and organized! My daughter has been attending for about a month and she loves it here! She always comes home happy and tells us about her day. She has learned so many new things! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming.

The Goddard school is by far the best preschool in the area! The staff is great, my daughter loves them all! Ms. Nidia is an amazing teacher! She is very kind and loving with the kids. My daughter absolutely adores her & learned so much in her class. Ms. Nidia, Ms. Shalik, Ms. Tria, Ms. Genesis, and Ms. Kerry are all phenomenal teachers, and Ms. Veronica fills the school with her kind and nurturing personality. They are all so loving and kind; it's great to leave your child at school and feel like you are leaving them with Family!
