Highly recommend the meat skillet. Coffee is great. The regular waitress was not there today but the gentleman I think the owner was very kind d and attentive. Even when we ordered an odd combination for the steak skillet. Adding a country fried steak. It was fire she said. Will definitely eat there again. Probably our favorite breakfast place in town

If you’re in the Greenville area a looking for breakfast you really can’t beat this place. If you’re getting off the highway, drive the couple extra minutes into town and stop here. The location is right on the square with great small town vibes. The interior is a time warp into exactly what you’d think a diner should be. The service was fast, my coffee and water were always full and the food was as good as you could ask for. It’s worth checking out!

We enjoyed everything about this place! The waitress was super helpful and sweet, she even offered our 2 year old daughter a coloring book and crayons. My husband got the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich and it was absolutely amazing! I got the euro, also amazing! Our little girl wanted a grilled cheese and french fries. She didn't finish all the sandwich so we tried a bite and now I have to go back just for the grilled cheese!! I highly, highly recommend stopping and giving this great place a try! We will definitely be back!

I try to come here a couple times a week always the same staff always friendly and always there to fill your coffee cup the food is really good very cheap and cooked to Perfection every time. Nice quiet little place with a good atmosphere and in the middle of downtown Greenville great place I Give It 2 Thumbs Up. Came for late breakfast today and the food is still good as always

We drove from Caseyville, Il. to eat at the Corner Cafe and it was definitely worth the drive. The food was excellent and so was the service. They couldn't do enough for us. The place was clean and had a friendly atmosphere. The owner made a point of greeting each person as they walked through the door. We DEFINITELY WILL EAT THERE AGAIN!

Stopped in after years, since there's a new owner. Good service and tasty food. Soups were excellent. Bright spot in a town that has basically nothing.

I have to update my bad reviews from the last 5 years. Today 11-27-22, A new chef made us a great breakfast this morning. The skillets were delicious. Give the new crew a try. They seem to be back to the good old days with a tasty breakfast.

Great service, fun atmosphere and delicious food. This corner restaurant is a real gem. I love the vintage diner atmosphere with the modern updates. Grab yourself a cup of soup, yummy sandwich with fries. Then, finish it off with a slice of homemade cake or pie a la mode. A great stop in the quaint downtown Greenville.

I only visited once but the skillet dish I had was so good. Big portion for a good price. Wish they were open for longer hours, not just breakfast/lunch.
