Food is excellent- fresh, tasty and well prepared! Had a sausage roll this last time and a Latte- so good! Selection is small and can be gone quickly, just get something, you will like it!!

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Drinks are always unique and tasty. My go to is the British bacon bap with the duck egg and micro greens upgrades.

I make a day out of it. Hit up the farmers market up the street. Hit up Shakespeare’s books. Hit up book and brush, the other bookstore with art supplies. Then head on over here to Shona’s.

Don’t forget to look at all of the fiber stuff. The yarn is beautiful.

There seating has gotten better over the years too. Lots of it now and overflow outdoor tables and chairs.

The stuff in their fridge case changes enough to be interesting.

You can also upgrade the egg on your bap. I usually get the duck egg.

Pastries are right on.

Plus they carry a lot of interesting little things like local sipping vinegar, pottery, skincare by local farms and Artisans.

And the music is punkish/alternative and often 90s.

It’s a whole vibe and I’m here for it. 🤘

This is a terrific find. Shona and her crew make wonderful food, and everyone is very helpful and friendly. Definitely check it out if you're in or near Chehalis.

A delightful place to stop when on the road or just visiting. If I were a local, I'd likely eat here quite a bit. The food was fresh and tasty and they had unique items on the menu like pea flower lemonade. Never heard of it before, but it sure was tasty and refreshing. Recommend the salad and you can see by the photos just how packed it was with ingredients. Full of flavor and color and highly recommend it. Sandwiches were super delicious and made to order. The staff was friendly and helpful and did a wonderful job of helping us out when we had questions. Check it out if you're in the area.

I had the most extraordinary night at Shona's Robert Burns Party! The food was beyond delicious - thank you Jay Michelle and Jack and the whole crew! The music, the poems everything was a joy start to finish. I really hope she does it again next year!! 🙏❤

Shona’s is absolutely amazing. Fantastic food, drinks, and service! I love the options of eggs to choose from, and the delicious pastries and desserts! Shona is so kind and easy to talk to. I highly highly highly recommend you give this place a try!

Definitely has to be one of the best places to eat on the I-5 corridor between Olympia and Portland. Friendly, conscientious service to go along with the excellent British food. The London Broil Bap had a great combination of the roast beef and beets. The tomato basil pastry was nice and flaky and had tasty, fresh goat cheese to go along with the basil and tomato. Will make sure to visit again and hopefully they will have pastys next time!

Bacon Bap was yummy and the coffee cake was even better! Shona is sweet and fun. Great atmosphere. Would be a great spot for a breakfast or lunch meeting/date. Excited to try meat pies soon.

This place is 5 stars in "big city ratings," not in "small town ratings." A 3 star place in Portland or NYC would be like 4.5+ stars here.... so compared to other places, I'd give Shona's 7 stars.... If you've traveled much you'll know what I mean.

Always so delicious! A super friendly, locally inspired little place to pop in and eat. My husband and I love stopping at Shona's for a wonderful treat (or four)

Shona is the best! First of all, she makes amazing dishes like sandwiches, salads, and meat pies. Seriously, her crusts are works of art. But she also is an ardent supporter of local food: be it the farmers market, farmers, or other food and beverage producers. If you haven’t been yet, what are you waiting for?

Service was great and she was very very lovely. Stopped in for a drip coffee in my mug. Good coffee and love the local options and fresh ingredients they seem to use for their food. Only concern (personal opinion) is the cultish satanic vibe.

Very nice place to come for savory pies, I really like the Betty for coffee. Very friendly atmosphere and convenient to be attached to a yarn store!

Such a unique spot. The menu was a bit confusing, but maybe that was my brain. In any case, Shona is very friendly and offered me various sipping vinegar tasters and other restaurant recommendations in the area. The lunch I had was excellent and very fresh.

Shona’s never disappoints! Always a warm and friendly welcome, and excellent service. The Organic Pea Flower Lemonade is perfect for summer, and has such a pretty purple color! The corn beef toast special was amazing, and I can always tell how much effort she puts into every single dish that leaves the kitchen. The affogatto made with sheep’s milk ice cream is a great treat, and truly compliments the wonderful espresso. A perfect stop on your way through Chehalis 🧡

Shona's is delicious. The food is always wonderful and fresh with lots of ingredients sourced locally. There's also a lovely selection of coffee, teas, and lemonades. You can also pick up cheese from Black Sheep creamery while you're there.

Stopped in for breakfast. The sandwiches and coffee were excellent and the owner was so nice. There's also a store inside with local sheep yarn and some beautiful crochet and knit pieces. Will definitely return next time we come through town. Thank you, Shona!

Food is made with extra love and from scatch. Need I say more? Highly recommended for both locals and those driving through on I-5! Owner is very friendly and takes time to serve customers with a smile alongside cafe staff.
Ordered a roasted tomatoe with sheep cheese puff pastry, and ended the meal with affoggato (with sheep ice cream!). Purchased some sheep cheese to enjoy at home. Memorable meal, hands down.
