Located in Gale Ranch shopping center, San Ramon! Upscale Indian restaurant. Now offering meat items on their menu, as well as a weekend buffet! I highly recommend their Poori Aloo (vegan) spiced potato curry with traditional fried unleavened bread. We also ordered the Baigan bhartha: northern Indian dish made with eggplant, onions, and tomatoes. This also came with the fried unleavened bread. Their vegetarian biriyani was very tasty, and paired well with the Baigan bhartha!

Tried evening buffet, excellent food vegetarian and non vegetarian, non spicy. Couple of dishes had too much soya sauce(too much sodium). I enjoyed a lot with starters. Great sweets too.

Being a food enthusiast, I often prioritize quality and taste over budget constraints. However, this place pleasantly surprised me with its budget-friendly offerings. The mesmerizing view of the river served as the perfect cherry on top. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone.
The only thing that concerned me was, the quality of Dahi Bhalla and Rasgulla. They tasted and smelled funny, as if they were stale.

Lived the food and service here. The beautiful interiors is the cherry on top. We went a couple of times here and every time the food was good. We have tried their chole bhature and kun ha bhature. The best part was it was not dripping in oil. The Indian sweets were also high quality wise. Loved the eggless pastry too.

This is a great Indian joint with a really good selection of sweets namkeens and food. We ordered their chole bhature and the taste was as close to authentic as you can find. Something I have not come across in a long time in most of the Indian restaurants in Bay Area.
Their decor is amazing and reminds you of an upscale North Indian restaurant! Try this place and you won’t regret !

It's almost like a North Indian food. Price and the amount are in proportion. Great taste and ambiance is great as well.

Best North Indian found in Bay Area so far ! Every item on their menu is delicious, We tried pani puri, chole kulcha (best) , raj kachori (best) , paneer Paratha and falooda rasamalai. If you are carving North Indian/Punjabi food, this is the best place. I haven’t found a better North Indian restaurant in Bay Area better or even closer to this. Amazing ambiance, nice and clean!

One of the Best food I have had in ages in USA and in San Ramon. Authentic Amritsari Kulche Chole and spicy shrimps. The customer service was great. The Chef Aditya Jaimini has magic touch in his dishes. Loved his recommendations and personal attention to his clients. Highly recommend.

This place was amazing, and the buffet was not your typical Mughalai, it was very versatile with Indo-Chinese, Mughalai and some South Indian style meat. Great place to also bring your family, and enjoy the hospitality of the owners. I spoke to them for a bit, and they then offered me a drink with Paan and Tequila, and it was one of the best fusion drinks ever.

I had an amazing experience here with the chef making things knowing we are vegetarians. Every dish was tasty and I wish I had more appetite to finish it all. In the end the dessert took the cake (I know!) With ingredients I would have never guessed.

I learned the cooking style is Rajasthani from Bikaner region. This is a fantastic place to go.

We visit this place with family often because of many reasons:

1. The servers and manager are incredibly kind and friendly. And to us, it almost feels like we’re dining in our own home. They treat us with so much warmth.

2. This restaurant is spacious and allows one to eat peacefully. It’s not cramped and noisy.

3. Food is always good. The buffet on the weekend is nice and filling. And they recently added lots of new items to their a la carte menu as well.

4. Service is quick and efficient.

This a one of the better Indian restaurants in the East Bay!

P.S. Try the raj kachori here. It’s quite nice!

We bought some traditional Indian sweets for gifting purpose. The staff was very helpful in letting us taste some samples before finalising on the one to be packed.

Malai Gulabjamun was THE Best !! $12 per pound was worth it. Soft and semi wet that will melt in your mouth. Other sweets felt too dry in its comparison. We needed a bigger box so they packed it up in a free spare box. Otherwise there are options to buy a gift box of your choice if you don't prefer the standard one.

Overall, the interiors are magnificent. Would love to come back again for snacks and meals as well. They also serve alcohol. Decor is beautiful for a date like setting.

Visiting my friend in San Ramon, we ended up driving to Indian Hotspot. Right at the entrance we read the disclaimer to slow service though we were ready to sit down and eat.

The moment we enter we see some amazing ambience, very well put together interiors and a calmness that just prevailed all over. We were asked to settled down in a comfort and cosy seating and it was a bit before our order was taken.

We ordered Hyderabadi Paneer and Dal Mkahani with a couple of Naans. After a bit, the order was served and boy the dishes were delicious. Paneer so soft and not at all overly done while the curry being just perfect with spices. Dal Makhani was amazing too and the Naan was made to perfect crisp.

We ended up ordering a couple more Naans (Garlic) and as well along with that a few items to go which included Karhai, Palak, Hyderabadi Paneer along with a few Naans and as well Onion Kachori.

Rajveer was an amazing host throughout and all in all this is a place you can't miss if you happen to be in San Ramon and are looking for some quality Indian food.

Yum for real!!!

peace love

Gorgeous environment and extraordinary food. We are not Indian but we enjoy traditional Indian food and trying new things that we have not experienced before. We love dining here and the variety of menus available. Chef is a world renowned talent, it is very fortunate for residents of Danville/San Ramon that he has opened this amazing restaurant here.

I live in San Jose and yet I travel around 47 miles to dine at this place with friends. Hands down the best North Indian food you can imagine. I have tried so many places in California and still this is the best Indian food. Dal Makhani - top notch! They do understand what Dal Makhani is and how it is supposed to taste! Amazing. Didn't like the Paneer Tikka Masala much because it was sweet but everything else - Dahi Kachori, Naan's, Amritsari Kulcha, Laccha Parantha, Tandoori Roti's were amazing. Wish they had a place closer to San Jose because driving an hour is tiring but still so fulfilling. 😅
Thank you for this place. Please don't change anything. Generally all the good places loose their touch if they change their chef or service representatives. :)
