We camped at Angels Camp RV & Camping Resort for 3 nights while at a golf tournament in the area. The resort was quiet, well kept and in a perfect location. The best part of the stay for us was the people/staff that we met there. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Shout out to Renee, Asa, Jackie, Joycee and Caleb. They all went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They made us feel like we were family. They truly had a "what can I do to make your day better" attitude. From chatting about local history to delivering firewood & ice to our campsite...we enjoyed our stay and recommend this RV resort if your anywhere near Angels Camp!

Jackie and the rest of the team/staff were some of the most kind people we’ve met! We delivered one of our tiny-builds to their fantastic resort, and we couldn’t have asked for a better group to work with! Even the residents there were super friendly too!

Their layout is great, and there’s plenty of room to enjoy the area and activities. Not to mention they’re in a great central location just far enough away from the city if you need a nice getaway. Highly recommend staying here for your RV/ camping adventures!

As we were getting ready to leave on our way back up to Portland, OR, they were super thoughtful and offered us a place to wash up in their showers before our 11+ hour drive back! We were so appreciative as it made our drive back more enjoyable/ relaxing.

Thank you again for the wonderful experience — we’ll definitely be back again to stay!!

We love coming here! The RV spaces our large and spaced out nicely on a nice sloping landscape. The staff is friendly and helpful. the resort is clean and well maintained. The dog park is large and clean and secure. My only complaint this time was the WiFi was not working during our entire stay-they were upgrading the system.

This was a really awesome experience we have been having a wonderful time here. The staff has been amazing. They have been nothing but kind and wonderful and very helpful and even provided a late arrival check-in for us who was there to help guide us to our spot at night. I recommend this park 10 out of 10. They blew it out of the park

Kids had a great time here! We happened to have a site that had paved roads surrounding it. The kids got lots of use out of their scooters!! There is a whole area where the roads are gravel. Full hook ups are always amazing, and proximity to activities and near by towns were also great. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Great location near New Melones Lake. Well kept grounds and exceptional staff! Greeted by Renee upon arrival and she was very attentive even though she was helping a customer in front of me. Took no time to check in and was escorted to my RV site. After leaving, Renee went out of her way to help me change some reservations that I had booked for a later date. If only all RV parks had such friendly and helpful staff. Will be staying here again!

Came as part of a group weekend. Loved my site #35. Liked the trees in this section of the park. Enjoyed the bathrooms and showers in the main building. Wasn't crazy out the bathrooms in separate building. People working there are very helpful and nice. Would definitely stay again! I enjoyed hiking at New Melones Lake.

The staff was so accommodating and super friendly. The clubhouse was small but we made it work for our Rainbow RV Club group for our Christmas Rally. Special thanks to Jackie and Joycee for going out of there way in welcoming our group.

We stayed in our fifth wheel for Thanksgiving in full hookup sites 52 and 53. What a beautiful and well maintained campground and the staff were so welcoming. Thank you Caleb for your kindness and hospitality! We will definitely be back!

This was our first stay at Angels Camp RV & Camping Resort. Upon arrival, we were greeted by very pleasant office staff who clearly explained the park’s layout, services and amenities. After check-in, a staff member in a golf cart led us to our space. This might not be standard procedure, but to get to our particular space I could see how I might have easily missed the turn-off that passed between two other camps. I appreciated this forethought by the management. Every other park we've been to just hands you a map and says 'off ya go".

Our escort spotted us to the most level landing closest to our pedestal, then carefully and clearly explained all the hookups. We’re experienced campers but I could see how helpful this could be to newbies. I don’t know if this applies to every space; but our pedestal only had a 50A outlet. Our trailer is 30A, and I couldn’t find my 50/30 adapter. Fortunately, our escort had a “dogbone” on his cart. The park will “rent” you one for your stay and refund the charge when you return it on departure. Just drop it in the basket on the way out. Very convenient.

Most spaces in our immediate area appeared to be long enough to accept just about any rig. We had ample open area in front and back even with our 30 foot trailer and 20 foot crew cab parked end to end. There was a standard picnic bench on site, as well as a fire pit with a slide-out grill.

Our space was just a short walk to the dog park, which our dogs very much enjoyed. Highway 49 was about 200 feet away from our space. Even with that proximity, we experienced no issues with noise, neither day nor night.

Overall, our stay was exceptional. The property and facilities were very clean. We appreciated the small American flags that lined the park entry drive. We didn’t use the pool but saw that it was clean and inviting. Although we didn’t use any of the other park amenities; restrooms, showers, laundry, etc, I'd be surprised if they were any less well done than the park in general. We would highly recommend Angels Camp RV & Camping Resort to anyone.

Kaleb(sp?) and Joe were very helpful. My friend, Mike W., Feb 20-22, 2024, sp13, had some problems with his trailer hitch, a problem he had never encountered. After over an hour of trying to reconnect to Mike's truck, we were at our wit's end. Kaleb showed-up, busy with other duties, and took time to help. What took us well over an hour, took Kaleb 25 minutes. Thank you, Kaleb.

We had a great experience here! The tent camp space was excellent, with electricity, water, a covered picnic table, and a giant oak for shade. The shower and bathroom were close by, and the grounds are clean and well laid out. The camp employees are very friendly, helpful, and well informed. We felt like family!

Great staff and very clean and quiet campground. We stayed with the family in one of the cabins and it was really nice.

Huge bonus that there are 4 EV chargers free to use for guests, which came in super handy for us as there is no other charging nearby.

Nice clean RV resort with enclosed Dog Parks and an excellent fishing lake across the highway. We really enjoyed our time together, and there’s a bunch to do in the area if day-drinking and playing games at your site are not your jam! We will definitely go again!!

Lovely, well designed campground! We were the first to stay in the newly completed tiny house, and it was pretty sweet. Upstairs loft was cool – your kids will love it! Nice kitchen and bathroom, and the big deck is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine, play a board game with your family, or just hang out. Friendly, helpful staff.. can’t wait to come back!

First time RVing with my retiree parents. I sail so I’m used to boats, but my first time hooking up an RV - it’s actually easier than my experience boating. My parents are new to RVs, so I wanted to be with them while they got started. This resort is super clean, friendly, safe and communal. We had a feally helpful guide/escort to our campsite - Caleb, who personally led us to our site and helped me back in because the rear view camera wasn’t working great. He, and the rest of the staff, were so nice and we really enjoyed the community vibe. Everyone we met was friendly and much like my parents, retired - we went during the week and left on Saturday so maybe that’s why. Thank you for a great stay!!!

Back in the day we stored our boat at Angel's Camp RV Resort and would book all their cabins several times a summer and we'd boat at New Melones. It was a great alternative to hauling our boat back and forth from the Bay Area. Fast forward 20 years and now we live within an hour of Angel's Camp RV Resort and we're hauling our travel trailers over with all our friends! We just concluded another great stay here and are looking forward to the next trip. Angel's Camp RV has been evolving over the years and it gets better and better each time we stay! Staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating, grounds/facilities are well kept/updated and clean, campground is quiet at night despite its proximity to highway 49. It's location is at the gateway of numerous daytime activities; boating, wine tasting, hiking, shopping and exploring! Thanks ACRR for another great stay!

This is our first choice to stay when we're camping with our RV trailer in Angel's Camp.
Always clean, quiet and friendly.
