Great tasting food and attentive service. I had the vegetarian burrito and my husband had Gonzo's tacos special. Delicious and noticed a few items we'll come back to try. ** Update: back again and husband tried the mega burrito and I got my veg burrito. Both had great flavor and we were happily stuffed! We'll be back next time we visit Angels Camp.

Generally just a good classic Mexican place, dear salsa is delicious and their chips taste homemade, I had a wonderful time and I felt the prices were good for the amount of food I got, and personally, I'm just generally a big fan, if I lived closer I'd probably get food here way more often. 9/10 in my book

Great little new place that was recommended by the locals. The regular wet burrito was almost a foot long and stuffed! The chimichanga was great with pastor! Didn't care for red sauce. Salsa was delicious!

I have spent more than 3 months at difference hospitals, for the last 3 years, one month at a time(no, I wasn't fat, something else)ANd I would dream about my "Angels". It may sound dopey , but, when I was able to use my walker to get into the reastaurt I was greeted wonderfully......they have no idea who I am, just a plain customer, go in and find out for yourselves. OH, and BTW their food is FANTASTIC ....

We decided to drive from Valley Springs tocheck this place out today I was so happy that they were willing to make my chimichanga the way other places won’t and it was really good too. The service and price was great as well we will be back soon to support their business.

Family run, great food, cheap beer, what else could you ask for? This is a hidden gem in Altaville, just North of Angels Camp. I had the molé special and it was great - rich and not overly sweet. My wife had a burrito, which was excellent.

Love this family owned restaurant! We are very picky about our Mexican food and this is delicious! Nice deck to eat on in back. Its a regular place for us now.

Super casual roadside diner. I've rolled in 15- minutes before closing and they had my delicious food to me in 10-minutes. You week be rubbing shoulders with locals and other travelers to the area.

The food was not just the run of the mill Mexican food, dishes are very authentic and very tasty, prices are reasonable. There are a few Mexican food spots in this area and this is the best one. The staff, Olga and family are super nice and friendly, highly recommended AAA+

The food was so authentic and delicious. The flan for dessert was the best we've ever eaten. This will be a choice dinner spot every visit we make to Angels Camp.

Great food, and great atmosphere! The staff was incredibly friendly, and were happy to offer salsas to sample when they discovered my husband and I enjoyed spicy food. We will definitely be visiting Angels Mexican Kitchen more often.

Best Mexican food in town!!! The Jalapeño dip is amazing!!! You also have to try Gonzo’s Tacos but no matter what you try it will be worth it. The dessert menu is the best….try the fried ice cream😋

Food was good. Service wasn't intrusive. The place was okay but I wish the tables were a little bigger.

Honestly one of the BEST Mexican food I’ve had in ages! This is not Mexican from a can vibe; rather, it’s very fresh, creative and carefully prepared, elevated cuisine. Cannot recommend enough! We went on a weekday so it wasn’t too crowded. Weather permitting they have a lovely patio in back with nice countryside views! I had the chicken enchiladas; others had shrimp and beef fajitas which were complex in spices and delicious! The poblano sauce on my enchiladas was also next level. We enjoyed their margaritas which were delicious and only needed one! Great gem in Angels Camp.

The food was great. My son got a shrimp burrito that he loved and that k was salivating over. I got the enchiladas, one carnitas and one carne asada. Both were good, but I thought the carnitas were better than the asada. Husband got the chilli relleno and he said it was good too.

It's a family run operation and it was so cute to see them all work together, baby included!

Just ate there for the first time. My family and I visit Angels Camp often. This will be our new favorite stop! Food was great! Service was fast and friendly. Very clean. Charming ambience. Indoor and outdoor dining available. Dessert was worth ordering!

People are super nice, the service was quick (I was alone in the restaurant) and the food is good for a mountain town. This is the better spot to go to.

The food was great. But the salsa, from the complimentary chips and salsa, tasted like plain tomato sauce. Everything else was delicious
