Great restrooms. Each one is private for one person. The bathrooms are always clean and warm! On crisp fall days, that's the best. Small playground, but has the essentials. Slide, swings and merry go round. The park itself is stunning. Beautifully kept. Trees that glow in color. This place is tucked back from the main roads, quiet and clean!!!! Noone comes to this park to cause trouble.

Beautiful park with slide, swings and merry-go-round. Best part is it’s secluded so not many people go. Clean bathrooms. Perfect for birthday parties, weddings, etc. with the covered areas.

This park is more like an upscale rest stop than what I usually consider a park, but as a long time Pacific Northwest native my ideas about parks are heavily biased toward bigger spaces with lots of woodland trails and access to creeks or ponds, etc. But I really enjoyed my time at Alexander Park. The whole area is very well maintained. The play area has old-school play equipment perfect for parents who want to dip their toes into allowing their children to take some risks during play. I noticed that the vast majority of kids there were all over the merry go round, a piece of equipment without any of the modern safety features of current play equipment, and they loved it. There is a short paved loop around a grass area, nice and level and suitable for wheelchairs. The covered picnic area is roomy and clean. No problems with pesky insects while we ate our lunch. I'm very glad we missed our turn and stopped here for our lunch break. Going in, it feels a bit like trespassing as the road seems like a private road. Drive slowly and carry on. This is a very nice park for a break from a long drive or a spot to spend an hour or two letting kids run free, for a picnic lunch, or just to stretch and relax.

Well maintained park with beautiful awnings for parties. Lots of grass, small loop bike path, very pretty, and quaint! Even horseshoe area and BBQ’s. Lots of picnic tables!

I love this park. Has tons of running around room for kids plus fun equipment that reminds me of the old days of playgrounds. The covered patio lions offer plenty of room for a gathering and there is also access to a nearby swimming hole which is so cool and refreshing in the summertime.

My family's first visit to this park. We had a nice lunch and a brief stroll afterwards; definitely will go again.

Great place to bring the kids and play. Lot's of room to run and play. Nice little playground. Places to sit and have a nice picnic lunch. Lots of paths that lead down to the water where you can go swimming. Nice bathrooms (no porta potties) There is a paved walk way around the property. Nice for walking, running or letting the kids ride their bikes. Very clean and safe!

We were planning to do some rockhounding on the river, but it was way too steep for me to get down there, if you are in good shape it would be easier to make it down and back up. There is a rope on one of the trails to help get back up. We still enjoyed the park, very beautiful!

This is a nice well kept little park with covered picnic areas, large grass area and small playground with swings and a slide. I have seen people access the Chehalis river for swimming or kayaking but I have never done it. There are a lot of hazardous wood snags in this river.

Just off of i5 - this small park offers picnic shelters, tables and benches, playground equipment, and more. Decent down a high bank to find the Chehalis river and the end of the Newakum river.

Easy to reserve the shelters, tucked away from the city & gorgeous! Bathrooms were clean and there's a playground with the old style merry-go-round, which is rare! Would recommend for sure. Great potential for a family reunion, picnic, or a dip in the river.

Perfect place off the main road for kids to play. Swings are great if you want the kids to be unsafe in the baby swing but other then that no complains about it. There's lots of signs warning about the ledge where the river is. Plenty of space for kids to run and also a walking path if you chose to walk. Covered place to have food at the picnic tables. Plenty of nice people also.
