I come here all the time. Why? Because the deals here are great! For instance, I got a Northern Pacific wood chip car pre-weathered, with a load, and rolling bearing caps for around 15 dollars! Also, they have some highly unique items here two. The best example is three custom built Mccloud Railway excursion flats, which I got for only 50 dollars! Not only that, the owner is very nice and knows his store. When I was looking for a SP Harriman Coach to modify to Mccloud Railway (yes I’m a fan as you can tell), he told me exactly where they would be if they had any. Of course, even the un-special cars are a great deal. I can get an Athearn Bluebox for the same price it sold for in the 80s! I would highly recommend this store to any of those who are passing by and looking for a hobby shop. Trust me, I drive 70 miles to come here, and it’s worth it.

One of the best model train shops I've ever seen. This shop has everything! All scales, all models, sets, parts, books, new & used. Plan on spending a few hours least! Great customer service, huge selection, free cookies on the weekend, more stuff than you can imagine. Well worth the drive and time. Highly recommended.

This place is Awesome and a model railroader can find practically everything needed to begin your own railroad empire. The owner and wife are extremely nice and very helpful. I was amazed on thier prices and all the stock they have . Awesome is all I could say train heaven is here.

today my brother and his wife stopped in on there way home from LA. The gal that runs this store is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Thay had a great time shopping and buying. A+++ to the Packratt Trains & Toys

This is a train store like your grandfather remembers. Mostly older Lionel and HO scale trains, with antique toys and books thrown in good measure.

An absolutely fabulous place for any train enthusiast. The place had a ton of model train equipment. Definitely worth going to see and shop.
