We went when they weren’t too busy at 7:30pm a group of 5 plus a baby makes half. We ordered too much, it was our first time here and they give you lots of food which is good! 👍🏻 The food was superb! Would come again! We ordered too much guess our eyes were bigger than our stomachs haha!!! Lots of leftovers which is nice to have the next day! Highly recommend! Also the staff were really nice to us! :)

Tong Fong Low... what more needs to be said. I was a big fan when they had a restaurant in Chico, but due to COVID19 and family emergencies, it was shut down to concentrate on other matters. But in Oroville it's STILL going strong! Zero wait time to be seated, and the arrival of your food, served piping hot and fresh, was in a blink of an eye. Nothing has changed in service, taste, or portion sizes. Did we order too much...sure, only to ensure leftovers for lunch the next day. The flavors for every dish is outstanding, as is the portion size. I prefer to order ala cart, but the lunch and dinner specials are priced perfectly for 2-4 people. I will continue to drive from Chico for this establishment. They HAVE NEVER disappointed... so please, yet it once and you won't regret it.

Was looking for my fried rice fix and got served even more! This place is easily giving you 2 meals for the price of one and I blinked and my food was at the table. First restaurant I've been to and given a 5 star in some time. 10/10 would recommend!

First time customer and will definitely be returning! Staff are polite and hardworking. You can smell the delicious food down the street drawing you in to grab a bite. Big portions, quality ingredients, no corners were cut as far as I can tell. Fast service. I recommend trying anything from there at least once. After looking up the history of this place I’m very impressed they have not dropped their standards and are still family owned. I lived in the east bay for 20 years with many Chinese restaurants around and this beat them all in terms of cleanliness, taste, and hospitality. I’m fully convinced anyone who gives them less than 4 stars has no taste buds or is a competitor.

Good Chinese food in town. They have large portions and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The chefs are fast in preparing the food too. They close at 9pm so no late night dinner.

If you are getting togo, you can call ahead and the order gets prepared for pickup.

They have a pay phone available for use too.

Great place. Wonderful staff. Good portions. An Oroville fixture since 1913. Alas, you can't get shrimp chips anymore, but the calamari appetizer is pretty tasty, as are the Schezwan dishes.

Best Chinese food place in the entire county. I love this place. Each dish has lots of food and the food is excellent. Free hot tea for everybody.

This is a great place. This is truly fast food not like that other stuff that's horrible and costs $15 now.

The chow mein is the best I have ever had. Portions are generous. The sweet and sour pork is good too.

Yummy Chinese, we enjoyed Mongolian beef, chow mein with hong cong noodles and the general chicken. It was all great. The waitresses were right on top of things

Great good and service. I had Beef and Broccoli with Pork Fried Rice, this is a local haunt that's been here for over 100 years and they opened another location in Chico, CA a few year's ago.

I highly recommend trying them out, you won't be disappointed.

The food is great. I don't live in town but the food is worth the 40-minute drive. Shrinkflation has not impacted their business. It's no wonder they've been open for over 100 years. Definitely recommend! Forgot to take pics, but trust me, it's great!

We were visiting Oroville. Decided to stop at Tong Fong low for lunch. Great food, pleasant ambiance and wonderful service. Teriyaki chicken and Schezwan tofu were my favorites. You don’t get to eat out at a 110 years old restaurant often, glad we tried this place.Tong Fong Low is definitely a restaurant to try!

I did a review of this restaurant for my English class. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. The whole experience took 45 minutes. You can't stay in business in this area for over 100 years if your food is no good. They'll definitely be in business for another 100 years!

Our family discovered Tong Fong Low's about 20+ years ago, and ever since then have LOVED to come back as often as we can! Food is ALWAYS great, and so are the people! Sandy, the owner has made us feel especially welcome since DAY 1! 😀 Such a sweet nice lady💜 Oroville is blessed to have this family business for 100+ years!

If you are from Oroville and you want a taste of nostalgia and love Chinese food then Tong Fong Low is the place dine! Food I remember as a kid is still the same today absolutely amazing! And the service is on point you won’t be disappointed.

The owner is amazing. She remembers us and asked how her family is doing every time. She runs very efficient restaurant. She has amazing stuff they're so friendly and again efficient. The restaurant is clean even though it's always busy. We love the walnut shrimp the drop flower soup and the veggie egg rolls kind of a staple with us:-). I don't think there's anything we don't like about them from those. Except that they close at 8:30 :-(. We are kind of late Birds.
