Love this place! We come here a few times a week. We really love the chicken and carne asada meat on just about everything we order. Best tortilla soup ever! Love the staff they go above and beyond for us every time. Very reasonably priced. Great family atmosphere.

Authentic fresh food, clean environment, old fashion feeling from the interior design, great staff/customer service. I've been dinning here since I was 3 years old. I have memories of family reunions here.

Excellent food and service!! If you went to the Fransisco's in Red Bluff, same great food. Parking is kinda wonky, it sits on a corner so easy to get in one way, but not the other. We will eat there every time we are in Oroville.

Francisco's stands head and shoulders above all other Mexican dining experiences in my opinion. From the second you step inside you will find only comfort and good food. The warm lighting, the lovely staff, the charming and homey decor, and the music and ambience that are never too loud. Immediately you will be greeted with fresh chips and salsa to die for. And then you may choose any of their fantastic entrees which have been reasonably priced for decades. Francisco's caters to all tastes, dishes start out mild but if you want the spice you have but to ask for their delicious spicy salsas, which will be brought to you forthwith. Their desserts are excellent, but I rarely have room after the incredibly generous portions on the entrees! All in all Francisco's is a local jewel that stands up to far away scrutiny.

Went for mine & my mom's birthdays in October. Dinner was AMAZING, as always. Mom was a little disappointed that they didn't do anything for my birthday, like a drink or dessert but I, on the other hand, was extremely glad bcuz I'm not down with the embarrassing birthday singing thing lol!

This place is SO good, never overcrowded, and the portions are made to please. Three of us got the 3-item combo while the other one got just 2-item combo. However, when she changed her mind (like kids often do lol) and decided she, too, just like her twin sister, wanted the cheese enchilada with her dinner. Rather than charging us for the meal plus an a la carté item for the enchilada, the server was more than accommodating and just charged us for the 3-item combo, rather than the aforementioned 2 plus a la carté. Really nice. Tipped the guy at like 25% bcuz he was awesome. Thank u Francisco's!!

I always enjoy a chicken enchiladas with green sauce here. Their servings are generous, delicious, and presented promptly.
Its a nice friendly comfy atmosphere.

Went with the familia for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Got seated fast, no wait whatsoever. Chips, salsa & water were served right after our drink order was taken, which was just after being seated. Beer was ice cold! (=

Had a perfect amount of time to review menu prior to waitress returning for our entree order. The wait for our completed entrees was super short, during which time chips & water refills were automatic. So pleasantly surprised at the sizes of each dish; I knew at a glance that I had fallen victim to my eyes being bigger than my stomach (as usual! lol)! Amazing, authentic flavor. I had a combo of one chile relleno, crispy taco & quesadilla, with rice & refried beans on the side. The chile relleno was by far my fav, prob bcuz I love the verde sauce. Taco & quesadilla were a tad bit on the greasy side but so tasty just the same. Beans could use some salt when cooking but again, tasty. Everyone loved their food for the most part & loved the thought of tomorrow's lunch as we packed our doggie bags. (= For dessert, we had flan- which I adore, long as its not sickly sweet. It was borderline, but still good. Just got sugar shock after eating only half.

PROS: Fast, friendly service. Ample free parking in their private lot. Lots of food for the $$. Nice, family atmosphere. Tasty. Left with a full, happy belly. lol great chips!

CONS: No tortillas served with dinner (I, for one, am used to that being a given when I sit for a Mexican meal). Taco could use a little work-- less oil? Beans kinda bland. Salsa recipe needs an overhaul!!

Can't wait to return for another meal. Wonder what my next combo with contain? mmmm...

Franciscos has fast service, authentic flavors. Reasonable prices. Love their beefy dip, chicken soft tacos and abondigas soup! Yummy! Salsa is great!

Francisco's is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Consistently great food in a quiet environment! Must try their Sopa de Albondigo (meatball soup) it is to die for!
