Nori Asian Kitchen & Sushi

Had a few couple dishes, such as the Takoyaki, Pork Buns, and Dragon roll, and I'd say they did a splendid job! The sushi they did not whole back on the amount a customer is suppose to have, they give you a good amount! The area is lively and enjoying to be at. It is pretty expensive especially with a big party, but the all the better to be at! It also has a Restaurant and a Bar that plays modern EDM music, (when I was there). I recommend going to this place to eat with family and friends once and awhile! Me personally would love to come back to eat.

This place is 🔥 🔥 fire !!! Our dinner was so good! The rolls are good sized. Everything looks so fresh. I 🌟 LOVED 🌟 the takoyaki! Kids loved the salted edamame. All the sushi rolls were completely DeeLishhhh! I think our family’s favorite was the crunchy salmon roll. The chef special was bomb diggity. I only wish I would have asked for tobiko on my special because tobiko is my fave. Service was outstanding. Very attentive server. Thank you young man for the outstanding service. Everything was absolutely yummy and awesome. We will definitely come back here.

Located in downtown Oroville, Nori Asian Kitchen + Sushi offers a variety of Asian dishes in addition to some really excellent sushi. This review will solely focus on the restaurant's sushi offerings.

Our group of three arrived in the evening for a weekday dinner and were seated without wait. We decided to go with their dragon roll, rainbow roll, and two of the chef's special roll. The chef's special roll is essentially a "surprise me" roll, in which the diner can provide some guidance (e.g. no cucumbers, nothing spicy) and leave it up to the sushi chef to practice their craft. I thought this was a particularly fun and interesting idea, and was definitely the highlight of our dining experience. Overall we enjoyed all four rolls, the fish was fresh, the rolls were flavorful, and everything was expertly prepared.

If you happen to be in Oroville and are looking for a good sushi place in town, then this is definitely the place for you!

AMAZING food! Must try the chefs special. Tell him whatever you want and he’ll make it happen! My wife and I ordered too much for the both of us but it was absolutely delicious. They played great music, had a very clean restaurant, and had wonderful service. Will definitely be coming here again in the future.

We had gathering of 12 for my granddaughter's 16th birthday last night kind of late. They were very welcoming and accommodating for our group. The food was delicious! Nori is a family favorite.

This place is amazing! Huge rolls, everything I've tried has been awesome. Comparable to Mikuni's. The best calamari by far! Service is top notch

Was graced with lovely sushi. The chef special was phenomenal. The bar was a playful atmosphere with smiles and banter all around.
Conrad was especially helpful with direction, menu knowledge, and laughs. 10/10 can't wait to visit again. Looking forward to it.

So my boy OuSio works here, most of the time I tell him I trust his judgment when ordering and let him decide my fate.....And EVERY time I'm not disappointed. Great food. Great drinks. And great prices. A legit sushi bar here in Oroville.

So the whole place is a decent size, not crowded at all and I went during lunch. The menu is small and sort of specific with the items they have available. I was hoping to find some festival goodies but this place didn't have any. Still though what i did order was good and well portioned. Tofu and vegetables in a rice bowl and a side of dumplings. It's a little pricey so if you want to spend a little more than usual then this place is ok.

If you can get a table at this spot, expect it to be busy, loud, & yummy. Food is delicious. I always opt for takeout bc I don't enjoy busy restaurants, but I could definitely be persuaded to sit in too just because the food is that good.

Bruh! Sushi is on point!!! Left to right, dynamite tempura shrimp, chefs special, crunchy salmon. Love the vibes inside the joint. Totally chill spot to just post up, eat, and sip some saki. #LocalFoodIsTheBestFood

Food was fantastic, our waiter was okay never returned to our for drinks or refills of tea or water. Had busboy bring us dishes of ginger and Wasabi. Another waitress refilled our water cups. Atmosphere was excellent with music and change of buildings. Everything that came from sushi bar or kitchen was excellent. Thank you!!

Sushi and other Asian food. Oroville doesn't have much sushi selection so this is the place to go to. Great staff and food.

Literally sooooo excited that I found a sushi place Oroville! Finally made it to this nice place in Downtown Oroville. My friend and I ordered 4 different rolls(dynamite, spider, dragon, and rainbow) and they were all AMAZING. Pot stickers for an app and they were crispy and filled with goodness. I have always traveled to Chico for sushi and now I no longer feel the need 😍 Fresh and tasty rolls at a great price! And they have local beer on tap! Definitely going all the time ♥

The food here is delicious. Service was quick and waitress was very friendly and made sure to check on us frequently. I have nothing negative to add about this place and will absolutely be eating here again.

Awesome spot. The bowls of Pho are HUGE!! All portions pretty large. Everything is very fresh and the service was great.

Yummy sushi and other plates. They have specials they offer that are really good.

Awesome specials and service, my son and I are here for egg rolls, spicy pan fried noodles a the Korean Steak tacos...yum!

Great food! Red & green curry with coconut milk & veggies. a salad on the side & fried rice.
