I have to strongly disagree with the popular negative reviews of this restaurant. For the years my father and I have been choosing this place for lunch, we have not once been disappointed or dissatisfied.

Our waitress was upbeat, patient, and dependable with our drinks being refilled just as we finished them. I loved my food just as I have every other time I've been here.

In the photos attached are the Taco Salad without chips and the Super Tostada options, and the small paper slip signed by customers who enjoyed their experience at this restaurant.

With a warm atmosphere, passionate owner, and consistently flavorful dishes, I strongly recommend Casa Vieja over not just the majority of Hispanic-themed restaurants in the Oroville area, but generally over most restaurants.

Exceptional customer service! Good portion sizes and we were all satisfied with our food. It is difficult to find good customer service these days, we originally tried a restaurant down the street and were ignored by the hostess. Here, we were immediately acknowledged by friendly staff!

Casa Vieja is always DELICIOUS and the service is fantastic. All the staff is so welcoming and observant. My family and I crave the awesome flavors of so many plates! I adore the tostada con guac!!!!

I love the rustic look. The waitress was fast, friendly and very patient. The food I ordered was great and the prices are quite reasonable for the awesome portions. You can share a plate. Their salsa has just the right amount of flavors. Nothing over powered the other flavors. I will definitely go again.

Bomb food bomb for proportion sizes. If you're a hungry person you got to try there Super Burrito it's 3 lb I added extra meat to it ate the whole thing finally felt like I actually ate something that satisfied me and it's been a while. If you like food you got to go here especially if you like Mexican food. Thank you guys very much now that's what I'm talking about

Food is delicious! Chips are a little dry, but hey they are free so I’ll shut up. Staff has always been very personable and accommodating. Margaritas are also a must have if you can handle your liquor. I’ve never had a bad experience. There is also plenty of parking in down town making it very convenient.

Hey not bad of a burrito. Waitress was amazing and it felt like eating closer to home in Los Angeles. I asked for a big burrito they delivered. Wife ordered something but i could care cause I was on a mission. Not a bad lunch date.

Great food and great service. My co workers and I have lunch from time to time and my daughters and I frequent often for a good dinner me. Juan and how staff is super friendly and attentive no matter if you are there for lunch or dinner. Recommend them 💯

Best Super Burrito in Butte County. I always love coming here, everything is super fresh and the atmosphere just makes you full. The Super Burritos are HUGE!!! And they always come in a different color tortilla and that's super awesome. Definitely somewhere you need to stop and eat if you're visiting.

It has been a few years since I had the pleasure to eat there! When I lived here before I movef back I had many Lunches, Dinners and some Birthday Parties That I attended. Food was good and the staff was always nice and helpful! I've gone there for years! Time to stop by for lunch, I believe they have a Weight Watchers Mexican chicken salad made fresh! It's good even when your not on a diet! ALL THE FOOD AND DRINKS FROM THE BAR ARE EXCELLENT!

In my opinion, Casa Vieja is the best Mexican restaurant in Oroville. Possibly my favorite I've ever been to.

My family has been eating here since I was a child. We've become friends with the family that owns the place and many of the servers.

Great food! Pleasantly surprised as I didn't research the place before I stopped in for a quick lunch! Definitely would come back. Hot sauce is amazing and LOVE the different play on their pico de gallo! Love the fact they do not put lard in their refried beans!

Very nice waitresses and the food is always very good. Portions are adequate as long as you don't order a symphony which are highly overpriced. Overall a good place to eat.

I'm a regular and go there quite often. I love the food, it is my absolute go to! The staff is amazing! Taco Tuesday's are my favorite! If your looking for a family friendly place than this is the spot!!!! Try their carne asada and carnita tacos!!

Always fast service, great food! Juan is incredibly thoughtful and I always check in for a meal when I am in town. Downside - I can't get him to give me the recipe for the house salad dressing!

Best Mexican food in the world. I make a trip here every time I'm in northern California. I highly recommend the ground-beef tostada with gaucamole, the quesadilla, and the premium margarita. Skip the fresh salsa and ask for the red (spicy hot) sauce for the chips. The place is a hole-in-the-wall and they get swamped when the place is packed, but the staff is very friendly and the food is great.

I’ve been eating here for 20+ years and absolutely love their food. The enchilada rancheros are unlike anywhere else!

Thank goodness this place reopened with the pandemic going on. I love there chicken rancheros and they're hot sauce. So yummy delicious fantastic food
