This is a wonderful place with modern and contemporary art. Trimpin is one of my favorite pieces. By inserting a coin, a rhythmic sound will be generated. It was amazing!

It was fascinating. There's all manners of different kinds of abstract art and each has a small descriptor about the artist and what their painting was intended to mean. It's very fascinating. There's also interactive exhibits and some that are mixed with electronics to create a unique experience. Plus it's free and the staff are very polite and knowledgeable. I learned a lot from this and would gladly come again.

We really enjoyed the ceramics exhibit. There were so many interesting pieces. One of my favorite was the black on black process that artist Maria Martinez used to make her plates. The video of Nora watching and engaged in the process was also spectacular. I highly recommend a visit.

This was amazing! The staff were so friendly and informative. We saw some amazing art, With informative descriptors and some poetry written next to the art. They had so much art to observe across three floors and three different styles.

It doesn't take very long to see the exhibits but that almost makes this museum better. I loved its collections and the displays felt so accessible. I took my kids (ages 6-13) and they all found it enjoyable as well. There was even a scavenger hunt for them to do.

This is a wonderful museum! The front desk staff are helpful and kind, the bathrooms are SUPER clean, the little cafe is adorable, and the Jean Lowe exhibit is FANTASTIC! I really have nothing negative to say about the place.

Really beautiful art that connects to some really cool times in history. My favorite part was the section that had lots of pictures of the Dougway Proving grounds. Really interesting, but make sure you read the description before you walk through it so you can understand the pictures.

The Eccles Museum of Art has a superb permanent collection that they regularly draw on to give resonance to the traveling shows that regularly grace the several galleries in their lovely building. They have real courage--not that the shows are rude or vulgar, but that they stand for principles that are important, both to the world of art and to the world we live in. For those who must travel, the local landscape, the city of Logan, and the University campus all offer wonderful landscapes of relatively unspoiled Utah mountains and valleys, in which are located some of the loveliest remaining old buildings. I look at art a lot, and have my favorite galleries throughout the Utah, from St. George north. When I first visited the Eccles, it immediately shot to the top of my list.

The upper floor of the museum rotates at works on a reasonable basis, so check back often. They include an assortment of well known and lesser known artists and a wide assortment of styles and mediums.

I'm real impressed. It's high culture for a small town. And it's totally free (although you should bring cash for a donation). Definitely a gem in the cache valley.
