Update after 2+ years of treatment by Dr. Clegg and his team: they continue to be outstanding. Dr. Clegg is an exceptional clinician, with a comprehensive knowledge of healing, who takes a holistic approach to caring for patients. For example, after I suffered a knee injury that I was being treated for by another doctor, Dr. Clegg took the time to look at imaging of the knee, explain what he was seeing, and helped me understand how the knee injury could have a negative impact on my back. The treatment Dr. Clegg has provided for my back has allowed me to continue activities that other doctors had said I'd be unable to do, avoiding expensive and potentially debilitating surgery - while also getting off all pain medications. Strength and functional movement have improved dramatically, and pain has diminished significantly under his care (exception is sitting in certain positions - but there too, Dr. Clegg helped me develop non-pharmaceutical mitigation strategies). I highly recommend Dr. Clegg and his team - they are a wonderful group of professionals who put patients first. No need to look anywhere else for high-quality, compassionate care.

I had the good fortune of being treated by Dr. Clegg for chronic back pain that had persisted over 10 years and was having a significant negative impact on my quality of life and physical activities. Prior to seeing Dr. Clegg I had consulted with several "top-tier" back specialists, all of whom said that the only way to remedy my back would be a multi-level decompression consisting of a series of surgeries over several months - and that the odds of a positive outcome from that sort of complex back surgery were around 50%. Dr. Clegg took the time to explain what was going on with my back, treatment options, and the range of possible outcomes from treatment. Consultations with Dr. Clegg felt unhurried, and while we talked at length about my back we also discussed politics, foreign policy, and other issues that made the entire visit interesting and relaxed. He and Physical Therapist Susan Doucette (next door) communicated, and developed a treatment plan that combined new/ better PT with a lumbar steroid injection. Three months on, the results have been remarkable: I can engage in a wide range of physical activities that were becoming unavailable - including high intensity mountain biking - and pain level dropped dramatically, having an immeasurable positive impact on my outlook on life. Myself and my wife are being treated by Dr. Clegg for injuries from an auto accident. I suffered severe whiplash and my wife suffered a severe seat belt injury and whiplash.
