Golden Dragon Lao - Thai & Chinese Restaurant

So it's sad and unfortunate the original owners have sold their business..they were great people and will miss them and their family but still be supportive of local businesses especially here in Sunnyside..

We gave this place a go Friday and I was a bit late to pick it up but they waited for us so we were very grateful. The Mongolian beef was the best I’ve had in a very long time. It was spicy which was a total plus. The chicken chow main was absolutely delicious. We were very satisfied with the food we ordered.

My first time eating Thai food and it was delicious.( Drunken noodles with beef)..loved it.

The chow fun I got was excellent! Very pleasantly surprised with how good the flavor was and how well cooked the noodles and chicken were. I have also since tried the pad thai which I thought was very good. The spices were excellent and the noodles were again incredibly well prepared. I have tried many other thai and lao places around Fresno and this place is very easily one of the best. There is plenty of parking and the next door milk tea place is great for dessert. Their servings are very generous as well and the staff has been very friendly. The prices are very fair too. I very highly recommend this place.

For people who typically don't try thai or lao food because of the spice- they have no spice options available as well.

We ordered multiple party trays for our event. Broccoli beef, chicken chow mein, pork fried rice and orange chicken. All of them were delicious our fav was the pork fried rice and chicken chow mein. The service was really great they had our large order ready nice and hot right on time. Portions were very generous! Waitress was very friendly and helped carry the big trays to our car. We will definitely be coming back to support this local business! Keep up the great work 👍

Fantastic 💎 hidden in a strip mall across from Sunnyside High School. The Shrimp Green Curry was flavorful, spicy and filled with plenty of perfectly aldente vegetables and shrimp. Friendly staff! Definitely going back!!😋

One of the best Thai foods I've had in years.

Love love this place. Portions seem to be a bit smaller, however this isn't such a bad thing because their previous portion size was huge! The final prep seems to have also changed, but again, not a bad thing since food is still delicious. Best Chinese food in Sunnyside area by far.

New gem in Fresno, give them a try, won't be disappointed

I went here because the one in Selma was closed, This place is not the same as Selma's. I will definitely come here too, this food was so amazing, it had absolutely fantastic flavor, and huge portions, it was a little pricey for what we ordered, but well worth it. Very kind owners also. I wish I would of taken a picture so I could share with you, try the Dragon bowl spicy with pan fried noodles. You won't be sorry.

I have to admit I'm reluctant to write this review because I want to keep this restaurant all to myself. Its just that good. The first time I tried their food I knew I'd found my go to Chinese restaurant in Fresno. The food is visually appealing with dynamic flavors. Its as much a feast for the eyes as the palete. A little more expensive than other Chinese restaurants in its area, but well worth it. One bite and you won't regret those extra few dollars.

Me and my family moved out to Fresno about 7 months ago and we have tried a few Chinese restaurant s but Golden Dragon is the best. Fresh food, great taste, they fill your plates up with food. Even when i ordered something by mistake, it was delicious. Mainly all their food is great.

The food is amazing. The teriyaki sauce is on point. Small local establishment. Definitely will support them weekly. Prices very reasonable.

Amazing food especially the house fried rice is my favorite. I talked to a guy there while I was waiting for my order that said he travels from Madera at least once a week for the food because there is no comparison. 😮 Yes it’s that good!

Impressively clean dining room, relatively tasteful decor, and a nice quiet atmosphere. All that is great for a dine in experience but the food is what people come for and the food here is great! I'm Asian, I've had my large share of Chinese food throughout my life and I can say golden dragon sits among the more memorable restaurants I have been to. I ordered the Two-item combo #4 which came with fried rice, substituted chicken chow mein, orange chicken, and spicy pork. The food came out quick and was very hot and fresh. The chow mein was great (cant really go wrong with chow mein... like anywhere), the fried rice was tasty but lacked the veggies or anything else for that matter, the orange chicken was.... unconventional.... fresh and tasty for sure but not your standard orange chicken, and the spicy pork was amazing along with its sauce. The restaurant is owned by a husband and wife I'm assuming, and theyre very pleasant and attentive to refills and requests. Would definitely recommend checking this place out

The owners of this place are very sweet. The food is amazing and I am a regular here. I absolutely love this place, some of the best Chinese food in town.
