Omak Theater

OMGee whiz. Excuse me, but now back in the area after 45 ish years. This place is still in operation. Came down from Tonasket sometime in the late 60s or early 70s can't remember exactly when, though the theater records would probably know. Watched the Herbie movie (had a 1956 VW bug at the time) came out after the movie to find a package of Herbie stickers under my window wiper. Koooool. Thinking now about maybe seeing another movie here, just for old times sake -or more- always did like the "atmosphere" in an inside, sit down theater. And of course the double butter popcorn and... hmmm what were those things, name escapes me, big kisses like candy in a cardboard tube... well maybe they still have them wouldn't that be a hoot.
My first experience with these theatres was at the Tonasket theatre a long time ago, I think the fare to get in was a nickel or a dime. Hated to see the place gone. It was replaced by a restaurant named D'Amicos which now too is gone. Lots of things gone in the last 45 years, wonderfully happy to see the Omak Theater is still here. Snoopy Happy dance.

A truly wonderful place to be! The mirage theater has amazing stain glass windows and a great aura. The Omak theater has lovely new seats that are cared for nicely making the viewing experience even better. The employees are very kind and respectful! Would recommend both theaters but my personal favorite is the mirage because of the windows. Hope this helped :)

Loved the vintage atmosphere, staff were excellent and the SEATS were sooo comfortable— I’d definitely recommend and go back as well!

Always clean (at least every time I’ve been there) good concessions, free refill for the mondo size popcorn and soda. So all in all a good experience.

Very friendly staff. Nice lighting down the aisles to accent the theater. Older seats but that is part of the ambiance.

Love it not bad for a small town movie. Sounds good. Great food popcorn cheeses and Italian sodas

Such a cute fun place to visit while in town! We saw Black Panther, the sound was awesome and the food very affordable!

Love going to Omak movie theaters, it's pretty spendy but they've always been nice and professional. Omak theater popcorn is also my favorite popcorn.
