Great mexican food. I ate simple here. Ate a special quesadilla and a carne asada burrito. Delicious! Met my high school friends for lunch. Kepped it simple. I highly recommend this restaurant for good Mexican food. I will be back. Great staff. Hard-working servers that love their jobs. It is hard to find these days.

Everything was great. I had the special quesadilla with chile relleno sauce on the side (for dipping), rice, and refried beans. Fresh warm tortilla chips with house salsa. Buon appetito!!!

Sobe's is always great. Excellent food and great service at decent prices. We have been going ever since they opened.

Best carne asada in the valley, hands down. Meat has great flavor and never under- or over- cooked. I’ve been a customer for years and they’ve never disappointed. Guacamole tacos, special quesadillas and red enchiladas with chicken and cheese are my favorites. Staff is always in a good mood, friendly and very helpful, even new employees, which speaks of the owner’s dedication in providing her customers with the best experience.

Our waitress was very prompt and attentive and the food was delicious. I recommend the Super Taco, so yummy. A family friendly restaurant.

Wow, excellent. Homemade everything. Bathrooms are some of the cleanest we have see. Chilaquiles are amazing.

Excellent meal. First time there. Warm chips and flavorful salsa was a good start. Nice heat on the salsa. Not too strong and not weak, just right. Chili Verde plate 🍽 was very tasty. Folded tacos 🌮, mmmwuh. Service, fantastic. And good prices. We'll be back.

The food here is Fantastic! The menu is simple but everything has always been delicious. From the simple tacos and burritos to the delicious carne asada and abondigas. The owner and everyone else working here are great. Friendly, fast, and service oriented. I would say it's the best Mexican food in the Imperial Valley, but I haven't eaten every where yet. I will say, it's the best I've had so far and I always enjoy going back. They do have handicap access and seating.

The food was great, and the service was awesome, and you feel like a family member being here. Feels like your Mexican aunt is serving you a plate at her house when you're visiting.

The owner was delightful, helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. It is a bummer that all service is to go because the place looks great. My friend and I had come from Yuma to shop at Costco. He found the place on his phone while I was driving. Will plan to go there after this Covid this is in abeyance.

This place is simply the best. Humble and welcoming feel even during these covid times. Awesome verity of combinations, salsa perfectly complements everything. Friends, Family & i travel here as often as possible. I traveled there today just for the Quesadilla special. 7/5 stars

Great family-owned, authentic Mexican food restaurant. I eat there every time I'm in the area. I highly recommend it. Oh, and you HAVE to get the "Special Quesadilla." You haven't lived until you've tried it.

Absolutely Delicious and Satisfying. Sobes is to the soul what a cool glass of water is in the dead of Summer. Pure invigorating refreshment and satisfaction. Here's how to get there: Order the Special Quesadilla + Rice + Salsa. Scoop out some cheese from the quesadilla and pack it with rice. Liberally apply Salsa at your own discretion. Feast. It is sooo good. It's a reward. Fried, Flavorful, and IMHO (and in the opinion of select El Centro locals) - the best meal around.

I had a very nice chili Verde with rice and beans. My wife was happy with her taco combination plate. The staff was very friendly and the decor was pleasantly simple.

This is the best Mexican food in the Imperial Valley. Not only the food is excellent, so is the service. Sobe and her staff make your dining experience enjoyable. Can't wait to go back again.
