This is a great spot if you are into fishing the upper Owens River. All dry camping but water is available for your RV. Closest dump station that I know of is the water district in Mammoth or just past the forest service station on the left on Rock Creek Rd

Great place. Came 2 times with in 2 weeks. Enough room for small and big trailers. Tried it out with both of them. Only wish it had a dump station.

We had a family function last weekend.
5 out of 14 people stayed at the campground. All 14 gathered together last Saturday for a BBQ.
Everyone was very impressed with the site. Beautiful setting. Plenty of space and yes the cleanest bathrooms we've seen at any campground. Trash cans were always picked up and usable.
Thank you for doing such a fantastic job.
5 Stars from each of our family.

Just spent 4 days there. The sites are perfect. No wall to wall RVs, lots of breathing room.
Our Family was able to share time with each other on Sat. and celebrate the lives of 3 brothers we lost last year. Everyone was super impressed with the size of the space so we could all get together, (we did rent 2 side be side).
I couldn't get over how CLEAN the entire park was kept. The bathrooms were always clean and stocked. The gentleman cleaning the bathrooms and showers deserved much respect for his work.
I can say that everyone spoke well of the campground and I got plenty of thanks for setting up the event.
The team assembled at the Brown's Owens River Campground made me look good. More importantly everyone felt welcomed and have all returned home and safe.

10 STARS!! if I could.
Be well and have a great summer.
Thanks
Bill

Great time every year. Good fishing. Nice general store. Clean bathroom and shower.
Beautiful scenery of the Sierras. Mammoth Mtn
Just a few miles away. Bishop just 50 miles away. Pleasant ride. Very peaceful. Clean fire pits. Crowley lake and Convict lakes are just minutes away. Reasonable prices. One of the Sierras greatest gems.

My wife and I drove up without a reservation and there was plenty of open space. The owner was very friendly and accommodating! It was freezing at night in mid-september, but truly one of the most beautiful campgrounds I've stayed at.

This place was amazing. However, I cannot stress enough how hot it gets in those hills with no shade (100) and how freezing it gets at night (36-38°). Plan accordingly. They sell wood but I would try to bring your own as I don't think theirs was seasoned properly. There was so much smoke coming off of it my eyes burned for several days after getting home. Very kind people though and beautiful scenery.

We came from Fl to see the north west. This is the nicest campground we have stayed at so far. This campground is unbelievable. Our first thought when coming over the hill was, there are no trees. When we got in the campground and saw all the winding rivers running through it and the view of the snow capped mountains we were glad three were no trees to block the view. The people here are so friendly and helpful. The bathrooms have always been clean. We stayed here for a week in mid July. Temps. Were mid 80's day and low 50's at night. We did not want to leave. Now heading to Lake Tahoe. Hope to find another jewel like this one.

Spent Friday-Sunday Labor Day weekend at Brown's Owens River Campground. Being new RV owners (as in this was our 3rd time out in the month since we bought it), we were apprehensive about dry camping, but we are SO GLAD we did. Brown's is amazing. When we booked the day before arrival, there were no riverfront sites available. At check in, the nice lady in the store told me a riverfront site had opened and asked if we wanted it. YES PLEASE! It was probably the best site in the whole place. We were at the gate to walk through to the river and it was absolutely magical. The river was beautiful, the fishing was good, though we apparently sucked at it because 6 fish were caught in front of our RV on Saturday, 0 caught by me, and I tried all damn day. I am not an experienced fisher woman though, so there you have it. The sunsets were spectacular, the park was pretty full but still quiet. Everyone was nice. Lots of people with dirt bikes and all terrain vehicles (like sand rails). The river was always dotted with fishermen. The cows came in at night and we could hear the mooing. Very cute. Our 3 kids ages 4, 8 and 9 enjoyed the swing set. We had a really lovely time and look forward to returning. Absolutely worth being in the middle of nowhere with those views while dry camping. Beware the wind, though. That was the only bummer. We can't wait to go back!

Been coming here for 10 years and it's always been a very nice experience. I don't fish but if you like trout fishing, this is the place! Stunning views of the stars as well as local mountain ranges with hot springs a short drive away.

It was my first time camping out there and it was an experience i'll never forget. We rented a camper and it was brought up there and was set up for us. We were right next to the river where there's a bridge. Nice place to bring the family to camp and fish. There are other nearby lakes to fish in the area. So you can camp there and just drive to the other lakes which aren't that far away. That's what we did during the week. Wasn't crowded the first few days we were there and even when it started to have more campers everybody is respectful and nice. Nice clean bathrooms and showers and the workers there are very friendly and helpful. For people camping out there for the first time I suggest you check the weather ahead of time and pack properly. My overall experience was awesome. I definitely recommend camping there.

This is a beautiful place on the River. Cows are in the pastures where you go fishing. So you have to watch your step. Lol
It's very quiet. Everyone seems to follow the park rules. No hook ups at all. But they do have where you can fill your water. And you can pay $2. for tokens to get an 8 minute shower. There is a laundry area. And out houses. But no dump station on the property at all.
