Lakeport Cinema 5

It has been a couple of years since I was at that theater because it used to be so uncomfortable. I went to a matinee today and the chairs were completely different they rocked they were comfortable the only other thing I could recommend an in-flight pouch in front of the chair where you can put candy without it falling on the floor. Sound was not overly loud and clear projection was clear,
schedule was on time.

I've taken my family to watch a few movies here (kids' movies). We've always had good experiences and really comfortable seats and haven't been crowded any time we've gone.

I was very impressed with the new seating. I love the rocking chairs. I'm also happy that they've changed management. The manager that was at that theater for a number of years was a jerk. The employees seem to be a lot happier and the environment is more welcoming and friendly. I do not remember this manager's name, but from what I understand, he's been gone for a number of years now. This is just the first time I have been back in a while and just noticed that he is no longer there.

Just saw the new Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning pt 1.
The theater was clean the seats were very comfortable. A plus is that all the arms go up between the seats so I could sit closer to my wife.

Very nice and enjoyable. Went to Matinee with my wife. No screaming kids or people on cellphones. Will definitely return.
UPDATE
Went to a Matinee with my wife today(10-21-22). Great service from staff and the new theater chairs are fabulous. Plenty of leg room to stretch out.
UPDATE: We have continued to see movies at Lakeport Cinema 5. Our last date was Sept 8, 2023. It is very comfortable and relaxing to sit in the spacious seats. The staff is always courteous and helpful.

Really did a nice job of upgrading the seats carpeting and overall layout. Much more room in the isles.

Wish they would do a little better job on the landscaping around the parking areas. So little to do to make it much more appealing.

I did not go to the theater. I stopped for the Taco Truck in the parking lot. The Catrina. Excellent food. Quick service.

I enjoy this movie theater! It's clean and the chairs rock and are comfy!

This theater is very clean and the staff is wonderful. And the popcorn is constantly being made so it is fresh for customers. Seniors get a $2 off the general admission price!

My only complaint is the rotation of movies. This is a small town with little night life and we would go every week if movies were not run for two weeks at a time. Love it here. Great remodel.

It is a great place to go if you live nearby or just visiting. Movies are pretty good especially the one I just saw.

Getting better, upgrading their seats has been nice. Could use some more upgrading, though. Clean with friendly staff. It has been some time since I have been there.

Just make sure kids not in high school will need a parent to watch a rated R movie. You can't just buy them a ticket The whole theater is very clean, customer service is great! Everyone is very polite and nice. They help each other out they have a great team.

Very good experience. Theater was clean, good refreshments, easy to pay with cash or card. Bonus: not crowded.

Went to see Spider-Man No Way Home which was amazing! Lakeport Cinema 5 is still the same as it has been for 10+ years which is good but also bad for some things. For instance the seats in the theater are not meant for bigger individuals and the cup holders in-between the chairs won't move to help with such issues. Additionally during the movie there were some rare audio and visual freezes/glitches that randomly showed up for a few seconds. Overall great experience, very friendly staff, and they gave away free movie posters.

Friendly and quick staff. They got our tickets and snacks quickly so we were not late to the previews of our show. Seats are comfy. My only complaint is that the chair arms don't move so I can't snuggle with my husband while we watch a movie
