They were able to explain things in a way that were easy to understand, and were thorough when helping us with paperwork and the process.

In September of 2020 my Mother passed away in the night at 84(not Covid related) in her sleep. Cache Valley Mortuary was very kind and helpful. They helped me plan a cremation and small service for our local family members. We plan to use them again when Dad passes but he is going strong for now. Thank you Cache Valley Mortuary.

This mortuary makes all the details that you are dealing with during a loss so much easier to handle. They are experienced in handling grief and help you make decisions so that they are not stressful. They understand the reverence and tranquility that is yearned for during the grieving process. They are kind, sincere, ready to help in any way, fair, sensitive, and trustworthy. We have had to use their services 3 times now, and they have truly become family to us. The compassion and care under which they run their services are unparalleled. Special touches and requests to help the family are honored to the best of their ability , and they have suggestions of their own that they have seen work in all the circumstances they have served under. Our experience with Cache Valley Mortuary was wonderful. Tyler and his team are so professional and compassionate. It’s difficult to lose loved ones and there are so many details to work through. Cache Valley Mortuary is beyond wonderful! Their kind, helpful and compassionate service goes over and above anything I ever expected. They took care of everything, even things we hadn't thought of. They are also extremely affordable. At the end of my Grandma's funeral today, after the dedication of the grave, they offered all of the family a Hershey kiss as a last kiss from my Grandma. I am so pleased with the service we received at Cache Valley Mortuary. They were very kind, compassionate and helpful during a very stressful time. The whole process was explained thoroughly so that there were no surprises and they were so helpful, even making sure we knew they would be there to assist with services for our loved one which will happen at a later time. If you've ever had to plan and pay for a funeral or any Mortuary services, you know that they can get super expensive, super fast. We felt absolutely no pressure to buy or upgrade anything that we weren't prepared to do, and the prices were surprisingly affordable. That showed , to me, that they are there to provide exceptional service for grieving families and not just looking to take advantage of very sad circumstances. Thameans the world to my family who have limited resources and were not treated any differently or pressured to put an undue hardship on our family. I am so thankful for Brad and his kindness this week. I will wholeheartedly recommend this business to anyone who requires their services.

My experience with CV Mortuary was brief but incredibly positive. Not only were the funeral directors incredibly kind and sweet... One of them dropped my dad's ashes off personally with my mother, saving her a trip to the mortuary. What a kind, sweet, caring gesture. I know it's probably tacky to discuss prices when reviewing a mortuary, but we never felt any pressure to do anything, to pay ______, or other horror stories you may have heard about mortuaries. If death can be a positive experience at all... Cache Valley Mortuary really took care of my dad, they helped my mom feel comfortable, and they catered to OUR needs. I highly recommend Kim, Keith, and their team. Thanks for helping me and my family through an incredibly difficult time.

Bard and Justin were great in handling my father's service. We meet with Brad, he was clear about what we wanted and did not try and up sale us. Just attended the grave site service for my dad. What a wonderful service in a difficult time. Thank you.

I had never written a review before today, but after I did my first one I decided that I should publicly thank Kim and the staff at Cache Valley Mortuary for the outstanding service that they gave our family when our Mother died. Even though time has passed, the memories are still strong. Kim went above and beyond in giving caring and compassionate service. He answered our questions and helped us through a difficult time while treating our Mother with professional care, dignity and respect. Thanks once again for your care and kindness.

Justin Wilson was so amazing when my mom passed away on November 7,2021.When he came to get her he was so loving and respectful to us and my mom. He told me that he would take good care of her. When we(my family) met with him to discuss the plans of my moms arrangements he was so understanding and knowledgeable about what we wanted. He prepared my mom and she was BEAUTIFUL!!!! He took such great care of her and us. Justin handled the first viewing the night before the gravesite ,he evened wore a PINK tie which was my mom's favorite color. Kim came home to perform the gravesite service. He was amazing also. They treated us like family ,so compassionate and kind and loving .Always asking us if they could do anything for us. I would recommend Cache Valley Mortuary to anyone that asked. They also did a superb job 2 1/2 years for my Dad's passing. Thank you Justin and Kim you are amazing !!!!

My parents had chosen a prepaid plan with Cache Valley Mortuary and what a good decision that was. During our time of grief, there were so many decisions to make and Kim Godfrey and Keith Larsen were fantastic and patiently and graciously helped us through each step of the process. They obviously know the mortuary business well but they have excellent service and support. I can’t say enough good things about them.

Cache Valley Mortuary was excellent in all areas. They were compassionate and kind as well as helpful with everything we needed at the passing of my mother. They were also considerably more reasonably priced as she had limited life insurance.

Kim Godfrey is a fantastic funeral director. My father looked so natural and had no signs of the unimaginable stress his body had been through. I really appreciated the thoughtful and professional way that everything was handled. Kim went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with every little detail. He didn't just want things to be good, he wanted them to be perfect for us. Kim provided so many personal touches that were so amazing. In every way our experience with Cache Valley Mortuary was comfortable and reassuring in a difficult time of loss. My husband said that of all the funerals he has ever been to, it was like having a family member handle things. I totally agree. It was a "relaxing" experience rather than stressful. My father passed away on February 13, 2020. We didn’t know much about funeral planning or end of life procedures. Kim Godfrey, owner, was very professional, compassionate, friendly, courteous, and kind to our family. He helped us through the process and made it very manageable. Our sweet and wonderful daughter ,Dee Ann Michelle Watts Seamons passed away on September 26th 2021. A staff member of Cache Valley Mortuary came to the hospital and was so kind and considerate to us and her family members. He was very professional in every aspect and very respective and understanding of what was traumatic to all of us. Their kindness and respect carried on to the entire process at the church and cemetery We are so thankful to the management and staff at this difficult time for our family. Stan and Dee Ann Watts. .

My family cannot thank Kim and his staff enough for their kindness and professionalism after the death of our father. Kim was so kind and even met with us on Sunday to start the difficult process. He gave us Idaho potatoes that we joked were “funeral potatoes” and we enjoyed them that very afternoon. He really did take care of us. It was raining on the day of the service but the staff provided us with a tent and everything thing else that we needed. We would highly recommend Cache Valley Mortuary to anyone going through this sad and difficult time.

I could not have asked for a more special and peaceful farewell with my dad. Kim Godfrey took such great care of my family. He helped us mourn, laugh, and spend time with my special dad. We went in numerous times to see him, and I even went alone for over an hour. I was welcomed each time with open arms by Kim, and set up very peacefully to enjoy my last moments with my dad. I really could not have asked for more. Cache Valley Mortuary is a special place, and I won't ever forget their kindness.
