My husband and I both totalled our cars in 2021. Farmers stepped up. Paid us promptly for what our damaged cars were worth and we never had to do any work settling things in court with either party. We had employees that handled our cases that kept us up to date on what was happening and were accessible. It was the best possible experience.

Been with John's agency for over a year now and have been very happy. I switched to John after doing some shopping around. He was the only agent who looked at the coverage I previously had and told me how under-insured I was. After doing some research online, I realized he was right and that he was telling me the same things various financial advisers online said. John also helped me recently after I told him I was going to get my house re-shingled. He asked me to send him the roofer's insurance information so that he could review it and make sure it all looked good, he even called the roofer's Bond companies to try and get info on why it was being switched so many times. To my own ignorance, it turned out I was about to pick a roofer who had no liability insurance, so I was able to avoid that risk. It has been very refreshing to now have an agent who actually has my back and makes the effort to help.

John is THE VERY BEST!! I wouldn't trust my insurance needs to anyone else. I call him all the time and he always answers my call and is very knowledgeable about everything. He truly cares about taking care of his clients.

Farmers and John's office in particular has been wonderful to work with as a small company for building, liability, and workers comp insurance. Everyone is very friendly helpful. No matter the question, they always work hard on giving a complete answer. Highly recommend working with them.

Over 30 years ago we were transferred from Northern California to Claremont for what was originally to be a 5 year stint. Well that plan didn’t work! After 30 years we still had maintained our insurance agency in the bay area for no logical reason other than prolonged procrastination. In our quest for finding a local agent we were fortunate to find and interview John Assaf. There was an immediate chemistry.
After an extensive policy review I never felt that John was trying to sell me a product or service. There was never an “upsell”. His office agents make you feel like they have known you for years, not weeks.
Our only regret is in not “finding” John years ago. We look forward to a long business and personal friendship.
