Me and my friends dined here tonight. The service was great and the portion sizes were generous. I recommend the lamb stews!

Had a great experience here. The food was delicious and the staff are friendly. Had chicken Sultani and it was on point. Will come back again for sure.

First time trying Persian good . And since I’m a heavy meat and potatoes kind of guy it was right up my alley. The owner is Awesome nicest person you’ll ever meet . Also beyond the food this place was hit hard because of Covid and I hope people read this and go by and support these wonderful people

Food was fresh, homemade and delicious. Great customer service, very large portions, decent prices. Host was very personable and friendly. He gave us large portions to sample before we ordered all for free. Gave my husband a large portion of rice to take home for free.

Great ~$80 family platter with different slices of beef and chicken, rice, grilled vegetables, and 2 sides. Plenty enough for four people. Also got the mashti ice cream for dessert which had a subtle nutty taste that I enjoyed. Young waiter gave our party her undivided attention and made my mother's birthday meal a memorable one.

My dad and I have been coming here for 18 years. It is our favorite place to take visitors and family from out of town! The service is impeccable! The owners are the nicest and truly care about their guests enjoying not just the good but the entire experience!

EXCELLENT Food and Service. Don't miss out on this restaurant. Great Food and Large Portions. Owner is so sweet! I had the Chicken dishes and they are huge! Very tasty! Didn't care to much for the Lamb dish. Not to flavorful. Appetizers are very delicious, too! Recommend to all to visit and spread the word.

Food was perfect i could say, nice and juicy kebob. in general we are satisfied and will go back again. The old man was greeting us very warmly and was so friendly. Very tasty food! I do recommend this place.

Best fesenjoon we've had in LA. The sabzi had the perfect level of sour and savory. Lots of nice bottles of wine to choose from. We were welcomed by a sweet man that served us what felt like a home cooked meal, made to order, and we even got a walk around of the art in the restaurant. Good food.

Very unique food. I've been to many other simular restaurants but this one is by far the best. While also having many dishes that you do not see at simular restaurants. Adding on the food was very authentic. Overall I would highly recommend trying there different dishes.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem as I was in the area visiting Claremont College. Upon arriving I was greeted by an older gentlemen who was very warm and cheerful to see us step in. He sat us on the table and introduced us to the menu and his recommendations for food. I had the beef and lamb kabob rice plate while my fiance had the chicken rice plate. After receiving the food we could not help to realize that the portions were huge! There was no way we could finish our meal. As for the food, I had my fair share of kebobs and grilled meats but the grilled chicken is by far the tastiest and juciest chicken I have ever had. You will be seeing me here again for your chicken!

Delicious, authentic Persian food tucked in a little strip mall on the border of Claremont and Pomona. Family owned, with a welcoming and attentive staff. It is a favorite of my family. The restaurant is decorated nicely, without being cluttered, and music in Farsi plays softly in the background. Before your meal arrives, there is a small basket of lavash and a small plate of sliced onion and pats of butter. I ordered the lulekebab, which was juicy and delicious. (koobideh at Mediterranean restaurants - ground and spiced meat formed on a skewer and grilled). Very reasonably priced ($14) and it came with a grilled tomato and a large mound of long grain rice.

We came in last minute with a group of about 30 people, and were catered to within 15 minuets, amazing service, you can tell the gentleman named Nesser is passionate about the food that he makes and genuinely cares about guest satisfaction and the dining experience of all that show up ro Darvish. I also had a 10 minute convorsation with him about the resturant and how they are in the process of renewing their liquor license, once renewed Nesser stated that he can make a delicious wine made from dates once he gets enough customers to request it along with a Scandinavian beer he brews himself. I can't wait for this to happen, a resturant that brews their own beer and wine! I will definetly be returning soon =] please disregard any 1 star comments, the dude below sounds like he got stood up for his dinner date and decided to rant because he had nothing better to do(serves him right!!!). And come on who dosent like LATINO tacos?!?!? Thats the only kind there is sir=] This is what resturant Hospitality,cleanliness,presentation, and deliciousness is all about FIVE ***** STARS!!!

The food here is delicious and the service is phenomenal. If you're trying to eat something exquisite, come to Darvish because the people are great, the spices are tasty, and the decorations/paintings are beautiful.
