I have been stopping at tackle box for years ALLWAYS fast and friendly. Tackle box has a wide variety of fishing gear and live bait. If your heading to Eastman lake or Hensley to do some fishing stop at tackle box you won't be disappointed...

Gas prices are the best around, great music at the pumps.

Friendly place to stop and get gas and drinks on the way to the lake for some fishing, oh ya the have bait and some fishing tackle and you can get a license there too awesome.

They always have the cheapest gas in madera, and you can pay at the pump with your debit or credit card SAME PRICE AS CASH! I love them fur that! Everybody else will stiff you an extra. .10 to .20 a gallon for using your card, but not Tackle Box.😀

If you ever see a green Taco Truck parked in the front right side, (gas station , has nothing to do with the food. Just nice enough to let taco truck park). Has the BEST FOOD in town!!! The burrito Supremes are to die for!!! Truck is not there every day. And only there for maybe 4 to 5 hours. They run out of food, every time!!! LOVE IT!!!

This is where I've pumped gas for many many years. Also my pit stop for snacks. Tackle Box allows vendors to sell food there, most Saturday mornings it's home made bbq. And in the after noons its a green taco truck. If you are a regular they will remember you which is what I enjoy.

Locally owned and operated. Good place to get liquor and beer in a pinch. Ice freezer is always full and you can fill propane here. Stop in and support the locally owned business!!!

Tackle Box opened shortly after two new water storage reservoirs were created in the early 1970s on the Fresno and Chowchilla Rivers, the way I remember it.

Fishing supplies of live bait, worms, some rods & reels were in stock. Their inventory now includes a beer vault, some wines and distilled liquors, snacks and general camping supplies and gasoline.

Their store is typically well stocked, and their usually lowest price in town for Regular gas keeps the customers happy.

On your next trip through Madera to Eastman Lake or Hensley Lake, get a fill-up and necessities at the original Tackle Box.

The owners/operators are constantly looking to improve. They offer a variety services including postal. And their booze prices are fair!

On 11/13/2017 @ 10:50pm the night clerk was shot to death in a robbery. Such a shame. My heart goes out to the family and friends. R I P (THE ALLEDGED SHOOTER IS CURRENTLY ON TRIAL FOR 1st DEGREE MURDER as of 08/05/2018)

This place is great for grabbing fishing supplies. They have live minnows.

Nice assortment of snacks, sodas and coffees. Gas is usually reasonably priced.

My favorite place to get gas for my cars and also my pit stop. I'd I want to go fishing, thus is the spot to buy everything I need.
