Memorial Hospital Los Banos

Everyone here was so very helpful and kind. I went into the emergency department cause I injured my hand. I was very impressed, for being an emergency department I never saw anyone here wait too long in waiting room. All patients were being attended to with help and there was never a chance for a long line to accumulate. The most important thing for me is that everyone was treated as equals and all staff made it feel like I was family and I could really appreciate that. I would like to name just a few of the staff members that I was encountered with but believe me when I say this that all the staff nurses and doctors were amazing. I gave birth on 01/25/2024. The professionalism and care provided by the medical staff made my birth experience memorable. The doctors and nurses at the hospital were attentive, supportive, and skilled in ensuring a safe and comfortable delivery. The exceptional care I received during this special moment in my life speaks volumes about the dedication and expertise of the healthcare team at Memorial Hospital Los Banos. I'd especially like to mention by name Dr. Prophete, Dr. Wright, Dr. Paulsen, RN Rachel, RN Elisha, and RN Lisa who cared for me and my newborn. Thank you to all of the employees in labor and delivery. I've now had two great birth experiences at your hospital.

My 89 year old husband went in yesterday evening with a urinary tract problem. The service could not have been better. From the time we arrived, until we left everyone was very helpful and caring. Under the circumstances, it was a a really good experience.

The staff did a great job of tending to my infant daughter's needs (she had a head injury). In particular the nurse Eldon showed kindness, and compassion to my daughter and helped me feel assured. He went above the call of duty in checking in on us, providing water, making a trip outside to pick up food my mom dropped off, giving extra pillows, a blanket, etc. I want to personally thank him for helping my daughter and I.

Also, the maternity ward here is AMAZING!!! I was a little skeptical to give birth at this hospital, in part, because it's small. But when I couldn't make it to Turlock, I opted for here. I was pleasantly suprised by how sweet, knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating the staff and doctor were. They respected my wishes concerning my birth experience, they were quick and efficient to meet all of my needs, they took care of me and my baby and my husband. They showed genuine care during labor and in the two days we stayed after. I was never without help. The room they placed us in was spacious, the meals were great, the beds were big and all my questions were answered satisfactorily. Thank you all so much!

I delivered my baby the past April 8th in this hospital. I can't be more than grateful for all the help and patience from the nurses and doctors who assist me. Even by phone, every time I had to call for directions previous to appointments everyone had been helpful. Before this I had a visit to the emergency room 4 years ago when I first moved to Los Banos and all I can say is that the service was very quick and precise. I remembered everyone from the staff being very professional and polite (of course the bill to my insurance was insane)

I wanted to say thank you to the people that work on my daughter after she got bite by a dog. These people were so attentive and caring with my daughter. They also gave her a stuffed animal and made a glove Ballon and drew on a face so she wouldn't have to think about her wound and what was happening.They made our night a little better. As a mother I thank you for taking care of my daughter the way you guys did.

Caring staff in a comfortable setting. I had my tonsils taken out here, and so did my daughter. My wife also had two cesarean sections here. Satisifed people never write reviews -- just gripy people do. Saddened me when I saw all the 1-star negative reviews from negative people here. Los Banos should be honored to have Sutter-quality in their city.

Everyone at this hospital was kind and helpful when a good friend of mine was recently admitted. They ran tons of tests that enabled them to find out what was wrong with her.

I am from the Bay Area and I was worried about this hospital due to how small it was. My son had a 104.4 fever. They admitted him right away and performed every test possible. I recieved the same care here that I had at the larger hospitals. The staff was also very friendly and they made my son comfortable even when he got an IV.

The staff there are amazing people. They really strived to treat me quickly and efficiently. They listened to everything I had to say as well as answered every question I had, including all my repeat questions. They explained the treatment very clearly and always had my best interest at heart. Truly wonderful people. I would recommend this hospital to anyone and everyone in need of emergency services.

I have been a patient here since the early 80's. I love the care I get from the front desk, triage nurses, Rn's, Respiratory Therapist 's, to the Dr's. I've been admitted more than a few times a year. I'm actually afraid to move anywhere else, because I dont think I'd get better care anywhere else. Thank you, Memorial Hospital.

Surprisingly for a small town exelente staff! I was very pleased with the attention I got! ALL Staff from 1am to 9pm on a Saturday Sep.28th to29th only thums up so thankful to all af YOU .

It was a very safe environment and a very welcoming staff. It was actually a very good hospital, despite its modest size. This place rocks!
