Big portions! Kind staff. My son and I each got the huge chicken bacon sandwich. I got sweet potato fries and he had regular. We could only eat half in one sitting! Good prices too.

If you are in Los Baños, you must come here. The delicious offer they have is unique, excellent vibe and unbeatable prices. The perfect combo.

I always try to avoid chain restaurants.
Stayed at a mom and pop motel a few blocks away and opted to stroll the main drag to get a feel for the town- not the standard homogenous chains on the highway.
6th st. Diner did not disappoint. Cozy little place. When she asked if I wanted 1 or 2, I naturally said 2. At most places, the pieces are about 1/3 the size of mine here. Not only that, but they don't place them on a cold plate like so many others do. Hot and crispy coating and succulent inside. All this- tax and hot chocolate included- for just $20.10.

This place has AMAZING food! It's not too pricey for pretty large servings. I got the Phillychanga which came with fries.

The waitress was amazing and the chicken fried steak was delicious a friend recommended the restaurant and I would drive back from Salinas to Los Banos I’m in the hospitality industry and the waitress you don’t make like that anymore she’s a gem

The PORTIONS! Large plates filled with good food. The wife had biscuits and gravy. I had the fish sandwich. Oh my goodness, it was delicious. Took a chance on this hole in the wall, small diner. So glad we pulled off hwy 5 to eat. Will be back.
Service was quick and efficient, so we can get back on the road!

We were headed up north on the 5 and there was nothing for miles so we took a detour here. Well with it! I got the biscuits and gravy, and my husband got the chili cheese omlett. Both were top notch and what you can only expect from a small town diner. Definitely impressed and would come again

Great little spot in Los Banos. Plenty of food choices and portion was excellent. Fair price. Will be back for breakfast soon.

I know they close early around 2pm their service and employees are very hard working and polite and friendly. We love it there when we come into town we are from Merced CA but been going there for 7 years, best place in Los Banos CA small but worth waiting to get serviced.

The food was delicious! I ordered the philly-changa and my husband ordered the French dip. They both were piping hot and tasted awesome! You get so much food for the price. Definitely recommend trying this place out. Help support small businesses!

Serendipity! A day trip to Los Banos and we probably picked the best place in town to have lunch. Full of locals and memorabilia. And the food was great...and a lot of it!

First time here today and the food was excellent!! I highly recommend this place if you're wanting a diner style experience!! I ordered the blue cheese bacon burger. Give it a try you won't be disappointed!!

By all appearances, it looks like what you would expect of a downtown diner. Just head on in and grab any available table. The service is outstanding. They took great care of us. The food is delicious. The menu is typical American diner food. We've had chicken fried steak, burger, turkey sandwich, and perhaps the best fish n chips I've had. Love the ranch dressing, too. If you are passing through Los Banos, get off the main drag and head downtown to this diner. You will not be disappointed.

A little hole in the wall with the sweetest employees and the food is pretty darn good. I have a new place!

Great food, big portions and fast service. Loved all the entertaining pictures on the wall.

This place is called "The Works"- omelette with red potatoes, bacon, sausage, bell peppers, gravy, cheddar cheese and biscuits on the bottom. This order is actually split onto two plates! Good price and very delicious.

They have real corned beef hash it was delicious. The service was great. My wife had a monstrous ham and eggs thing was big enough for 3 people. Everything was great!
